23. Week Before Tour

He's so cute I cant handle it

July 2nd, 1985

You had been staying over at Nikki's the past week, you actually had an idea to buy your apartment/condo and lease it to make some extra money on the side, since you had basically moved back in with Nikki, you introduced your cat to whisky and it actually didn't go as bad as you thought it would, we had hired someone to take care of the house and pets when you guys leave for the tour, things had been going pretty good with you and Nikki, you were excited for the tour since Doc approved of the idea your boss came up with.

Nikki was using heroin more often and it concerned you of course, but he didn't want help and wouldn't admit to having a problem, you cant help someone who doesn't want help. You just tried to be there for him.

Today the band and management were having a meeting to go over stuff for the tour. You hadn't seen any of the guys yet, you and Nikki had basically just been at home fucking and doing nothing.

You and Nikki walked into Docs office, the other guys were already there,
"What are you doing here y/n?" Tommy asked
"Well I'm back with Nikki and I'm coming on tour" you said
"Shit you forgave him" Mick said
"Fuck you" Nikki said to him
"Don't you have a job?" Vince asked
"Yeah well while the tour goes on I'll be writing and taking notes about what its like to tour with Mötley Crüe and then it will be published as a story in the magazine" you replied
"Shit thats cool" Tommy said
"Yeah y/n your coming on this tour to do a job not screw around with Nikki" Doc stated
"I know calm down" you said to Doc with a small laugh

Honestly the band weren't exactly close right now, they treated Vince like the bad guy because of the accident, it was making things tense for the band, especially Doc, because he has to deal with all of them.

You left the meeting early since you had planned on meeting Carrie for lunch, you arrived at the restaurant and sat down at the table,

"Hey sorry I'm late" you said
"Oh its fine, so what have you been up too and why haven't you been at work?" she asked
"Well I'm back with Nikki" you said with a nervous face
"What omg thats great?" she said
"Really I thought you'd tell me its was a dumb idea" you said
"Well part of me thinks that but your my best friend and I'll support you and Nikki unless he hurts you."
she stated
"Thank you." you replied with a smile

You guys talked some more and ordered some drinks
"So why haven't you been at work?" she asked
You explained everything to her
"Kinda weird but lucky how that worked out" she said
"Yeah I'm happy about it, tour can be fun and I get to keep my job" you replied

After you had lunch with Carrie you headed home, you walked inside and sat down on Nikkis lap, you gave him a kiss and cuddled with him for a bit, being close to Nikki was the best feeling , a bit later you went upstairs into the office, you grabbed your journal and started writing a poem like you used to

Im fascinated by the redness of your lips

Im tired of this affliction

You stopped writing, writing that felt odd since you were so happy seconds ago. You were happy as fuck to be back with Nikki, his drug use was just the one thing you wish you could change.

The next day you and Nikki started packing for tour, you were honestly ready to get put of LA. You helped Nikki pack all his stage clothes, they were all handmade and really cool, he even had his bass match the polka dots on his clothes.

You packed your clothes and stuff and made sure to pack an extra journal so you could keep your personal writing and your work writing separate.

The first stop on the tour was in Japan, you're fucked excited since you've never been.
The next day the car arrived to pick you and Nikki up and take you to the airport.
