Y/Ns POV
You woke up with Nikki's arms around you "Morning" he said You unraveled your self from him and turned over, you were still mad at him because of last night, you could've lost your job. "What's the matter?" he asked "Well you and your high ass could've cost me my job with the scene you made last night" you stated "You're still on about that" he said "Yeah I don't come to the studio and make a fool of you" you replied "I guess I see your point but your just a stripper not a musician, it's different" he said you immediately got out of the bed "Oh sorry i'm not as talented as you rock star" you stated with an angry voice "Shit y/n I didn't mean it like that I just meant" he said as you cut him off "You meant that your job is more important than mine and it doesn't matter if I get fired" you said waking out of the room
Even if being a musician is more important, you still worked really hard for the things you wanted. Though you were pissed at him, you went back into the room to fix it, you walked in as he was putting on his jeans "Ok let's talk about this" you said "Fine" he stated "I know what's happening in your life right now is a big deal, but you can't dismiss my life, cause I work just as hard as you." you said "I know babe i'm sorry, i've just been doing dumb shit lately cause i'm nervous about the album , and you know I love seeing you dance on stage" he replied that last part made you laugh a little "I know your nervous, and the fact that your using drugs to cope concerns me a bit" you said "I'm not using drugs to cope, i'm using drugs cause it's fun" he said with a smile "Well I don't want anything bad to happen to you" you said as you hugged him "Y/n nothings gonna happen to me" he said You hugged him tighter and felt glad that you talked to him instead of ignoring him for a few days then making up.
You got dressed in some tight jeans and a black tank top, you finished off the look with your black boot heels

"You look hot y/n" Vince said with a smirk "Watch it" Nikki said hitting him in the arm "Well i'm going out since I have the day off, see you guys later" you said Nikki kissed you goodbye as you walked out the door
Today you decided to buy your self a nice journal for your writing instead of using your shitty notebook. You went into a small stationary store and starting looking around, you eventually found a leather journal you liked with the first letter of your name engraved in the corner. After you bought it you walked across the street to eat at a small place called 'City Cafe', you ordered a coffee, since you've been in LA you hadn't had much time to yourself to explore the city, so today had been a nice break from partying and working. You opened your journal and started writing,
He's blue like the sky You can see it in his eyes Star eyed child With unrealistic expectations of life Drawn to the light like a moth Drawn to drugs but unaware of the cost
You stopped once you realized you were subconsciously writing about Nikki, you turned the page and starting writing something else
LA you've treated me well, things haven't gone exactly as I planned, but things right now couldn't be better I wish I had more long term goals, but i'm not quite sure what they would be, maybe a writer, maybe an actress, I don't know
You shut your journal and put it in your bag, you finished your coffee and payed "Bye thank you" you said walking out the door "Thanks" the waiter replied
When you got back to the apartment the boys were at the studio, it was their last day so i'm sure they were planning on celebrating finishing their first album, as they should. You put your stuff away and got ready for tonight, you kept the outfit you had since you didn't feel like changing, you basically just fixed your hair and put on some makeup.
You assumed the guys had told some people about the party since people started showing up at the apartment before they were even home, it was kinda chaotic for you, but you put out the alcohol and turned on some music. The boys arrived yelling about how they finished the album, Nikki walked over and picked you up "Im so happy for you guys" you said while looking into his green eyes he gave you a kiss and then started partying you did some shots with the guys then did a couple lines of coke
It had been a great day and a great night of partying ____________________________________ A/N - So I know this part is short but I kinda wanted to end 1981 here with them recording their album and move on to the shout at the devil era, i'll explain the background in the next part, thanks for reading guys! - Lana
