28. Breakfest

A/N - Yeah so I haven't updated in a month. I was so busy with the end of school but it's summer and ideas are flowing. I hope you enjoy this part, it might not be the best since I'm a bit rusty but normal updates are coming back! - Lana

Waking up you felt the effects of touring, even though you weren't up onstage it was still very tiring to be constantly traveling.

It had been about two months and nikki wasn't getting worse but he wasn't getting better either, you didn't really know what to do, he wouldn't listen to you and no one else really cared.

You rolled over and put your hands on his bare chest, he looked so peaceful when he slept, a tear shed from your eye, you wouldn't know what to do if you lost him, and it hurt because sometimes you felt like he didn't love you as much as you loved him.

"Nikki" you said
"What" he replied in a groggy voice
"I think Heather is visiting tonight" you said
"Where are we?" he asked
"Portland, It's a pretty easy drive, I think that's why she's coming" you said
"So what about it?" he asked
"Well I think they want to do like a double date or some shit like that" you replied
"Did you already say yes, or can we get out of it?" he asked
"Yeah I already told them we would, also how would we get out of that?" you asked with a laugh
"I don't know, don't laugh at me" he said
"Aww poor baby what are you gonna do about it?" you asked
"Shut you up" he said with a smirk on his face
He kissed you on the lips softly

You got out of bed and looked out the window and addressed the weather, it was fall and you were in Oregon. You put on a pair of high wasted jeans, a black turtleneck that you tucked in, and your black heels. After I finished getting ready Nikki went into the bathroom and locked the door. Of course.

"Nikki hurry up." you banged on the bathroom door
"Just a sec." he replied

He came out and it was obvious that he was high.
You and Nikki met Tommy and Heather in the lobby.

"Hey how's it going?" you asked and hugged her
"Good, how about you?" she asked
"Tour life ya know." you stated
"Yeah I get it." she replied
"Well let's go I heard there is a good breakfast place around here." you said

As you walked off Nikki smacked your ass.
"Nikki!" you said
"What you know you like it." he replied
"Oh god." you muttered
Today was going to be interesting.

You guys arrived at the restaurant and were seated.
Everyone ordered their food and you had coffee while waiting for the food. The conversation was kind of dry, there wasn't much too talk about, you were with the guys all the time so they knew what was going on in your life, Heather mostly talked about her photo shoots and acting jobs. Sometimes you wished you were her, she was gorgeous and didn't have boyfriend problems, well none she knew about it. Tommy cheats on her from time to time, you want to tell her, but you just don't know her well enough, it doesn't feel like your place.

Once the food arrived you started eating, all the sudden you felt Nikki's hand on your thigh. You choked on your food.

"Are you okay?" Heather asked
"Yeah I'm fine, just got choked up." you replied

You kicked Nikki's foot, it's not like you wanted him to stop, but you were at a restaurant with our friends.

Obviously Nikki didn't stop... His hand ran up you thigh, rubbing you over my jeans. You don't know why or how but his touch put you into a state of ecstasy.

After a minute or so , you moved his hand off of you, you just didn't want to embarrass yourself by making any noise.

We all ate and as we were coming towards the end of the meal Tommy did something that no one expected.

"Heather, I love you so much, your amazing, will you marry me?" He asked down on one knee
"Yes!" she exclaimed

You were in complete and utter shock, you and Nikki had been together way longer than them and you guys weren't married, Tommy is a bit of a romantic though.

They were both so giddy and happy, and for some reason you found yourself annoyed, you then realized that you were just jealous.

The ring was a gorgeous diamond, you and Heather started talking all things wedding.

Finally you guys paid and left since the boys had to do sound check for tonight's show.

As you were walking out the door Nikki kissed your head.
