You will

"You can fix yourself if you just try.

Trying to make people pity you when you cry.

You are broken and can't be fixed.

Be like those who've learned to live with it."

Depression attacks on the darkest days.

Even in the light there it will stay.

You will try to pretend like it's not real.

Depression will exploit everything you feel.

Take the lonely and multiply by three.

It will make you feel like a disease.

You will feel like you infect and burden those you love.

Because of the feelings you can't get rid of.

At least that's what depression makes you think.

Alone in your room, that's when in your thoughts you sink.

It will show you everything you could've had.

If depression didn't always make you feel sad.

There will be days you can't get out of bed.

There will be days you live inside your head.

No matter how hard you will try to break free.

Your only thought is, "no one can save me."

You will be living in a bubble.

That will shrink everyday on the double.

Until you can no longer move.

You will realize there's nothing left for you to do.

You will be stuck right where you are.

Always believing you were never going to get far.

All the days you fought to stop it.

We're all in vain as you embrace it.

You will fall down to your knees.

But this time you won't cry or plea.

You will realize this is where it was leading.

As you prepared for the final beating.

You will have no energy to fight.

All those people, you realize were right.

"I cannot live under this depression."

You will let go of your final confessions.

How many times you dreamed of this moment.

When you believed you were broken.

Here are the times you hoped would never come.

Your heart will start beating like a drum.

You will look down to the ground.

You will feel the pain start building now.

The pain will overflow in your eyes.

You will believe it's your time to die.

You will look up at yourself in the mirror.

And everything will start to become clearer.

You will see the person that stares back.

Then there will be flashbacks.

The life you had before depression will plague your mind.

You won't realize when you started crying.

You will think about the life you will leave.

You will think about the things you could achieve.

You will step back and take a breath.

And realize everything you have left.

You will understand you can be fixed.

Your thoughts and feelings just got a little mixed.

You will feel the light of a new day.

And you will welcome the good heading your way.
