Emotions swirling like a storm on a winter night.

Something in the air doesn't feel right.

Snowflakes fall from the air.

She goes to catch one but there's nothing there.

Winter storm swirls on the inside.

"I'm not feeling okay." She confides.

She goes to the priest to tell him her confessions.

He tells her to let go of her aggressions.

Santa won't be stopping by.

All this year, all she's done is lie.

"I'm okay," she told all.

But it changes once nightfall.

Cold and alone in the dark.

Empty space inside her heart.

Despair makes her feel so cold.

Despair makes her feel so alone.

She won't tell another living being.

Because she's scared of what they'll be seeing.

She's terrified of how they will react.

Once they see how bad her soul is cracked.

She turns to people she shouldn't trust.

The ones that now look at her in disgust.

She feels her heart break a little more.

She feels like her scars are an eyesore.

She doesn't know how to stop the cold from creeping in.

She doesn't know how to stop the frostbite taking over her skin.

She feels her heart slowly turning to ice.

But she doesn't even look twice.

She waits for the cold to take over.

She waits till the day she can pass over.

The cold slowly takes the rest of her with.

The loneliness she feels wasn't a myth.

She spends the rest of her days locked alone.

Drowned inside a prison made of ice and snow.
