Izuku sat, staring at the spiky blonde head in front of him, a slight blush to his features.

"I can't keep pushing this down any deeper,"

During a battle training, he watched, longingly, as the blonde yelled at a certain red-head.

"Why do I keep trying if I can't keep her?"

As he was walking to school one day, he accidentally tripped on a rock right in front of the blonde, who, in turn, laughed at him, causing tears of shame and embarrassment to make themselves known in his vision.

"Every move I make is just another mistake,"

In the common room, he watched as the blonde and the red-head studied together, the blonde yelling loudly as the red-head scratched the back of his neck in embarrassment.

"I wonder what it would take,"

Staring at the scene of the blonde and red-head eating lunch together, Izuku reached up and grabbed the space where his heart is on his uniform.

"Because it feels like there's a hole inside my body,"

He laid in bed, silently crying as he clenched the left side of his shirt, his other arm hiding his eyes as he sobbed.

As he dreamt at night, he was consumed by explosions, burning him alive as he stared into red vermillion eyes.

"It's like this feeling is gonna consume me,"

He took a deep breath, about to walk over to the blonde, but was cut off by a shout of the blonde's name, as the red-head came running into the room and rushed over to hug the angry blonde.

"If I keep waiting for this thing to start,"

As Izuku tried to take a breath, his throat closed up, and his breath hitched, causing him to silently gasp as his chest felt pressured by an unknown weight.

"Ohh, I feel like I'm all gummed up inside,"

As he watched the two interact, Izuku felt flickers of a specific emotion he's felt almost all of his life that he's had to push down, jealousy.

"It's like I'm all gummed up inside,"

Every day, as he observed the blonde and red-head, he felt his chances grow dimmer and dimmer.

"It's like I'm all gummed up insi-i-de, i-i-ide,"

Looking one last time at the blonde surrounded by friends, he sighed before turning back into his own friend group.

"Ugh."

As he turned back to his friends with a fake smile, he missed the vermillion gaze that went his way.

Katsuki sneakily snuck glances at the green-haired beauty.

"'Ohh, Green Princess, I think you're rad,"

He stared a the viridian-eyed boy talked excitedly with a tall blonde man—minuscule amounts of pink dusting his cheeks.
