WHAT INSPIRED ME TO WRITE QDMAH!

Izuku Yagi had a loving family. He had a loving mother and father, his father secretly being the #1 pro-hero All Might, though Izuku didn't know this yet, a twin brother who cared about him, and 2 best friends. All of this changed though when he turned 4.

...

It was Izuku and Mikumo's 4th birthday. Katsuki Bakugo and Shoto Todoroki came over with their families for the party. Today was the day that their quirks developed. Or... were SUPPOSED to develop in Izuku's case. It was after they blew out their candles and everyone was clapping. Suddenly Mikumo's hands started glowing red, then other things were surrounded by a red aura, and then all of the things were floating around. Everyone looked on in awe. Then Mikumo turned to Izuku and said,

"Izu look!" he said excitedly.

"Wow Kumo! That's so cool! It looks like mama's!" he exclaimed.

Mikumo looked at his hands and concentrated on them. Then as suddenly as it happened, all of it stopped. Mikumo's hands went back to normal, and all of the things fell.

"Now we just have to wait for yours Izu!" Kumo said.

"Yeah!" Izu responded.

The part kept going on after that. Everyone was waiting for Izuku to show signs of a quirk, but it never came. It soon turned into night and everyone had to leave.

"You better tell me what quirk you get tomorrow!" Katsuki tells Izuku before he leaves.

"Ok Kacchan!" Izu responds happily.

Then it was Shoto's turn to leave.

"Goodbye Izuku! Tell me when you get your quirk!" Shoto says.

"Ok Shochan!" Izu says in response.

Soon night turned into day. Izuku's quirk didn't come the day before, so Inko set up an appointment for him. Hopefully it'll come soon.

...

"He's quirkless"

What.

"What?" Inko asked.

"He's quirkless. He should give up on his dreams of getting a quirk."

After an explanation from the doctor about how he'll never get a quirk Inko and Izuku went home.

That's when everything became hell.

10 years later (They're all 15, 1 year until U.A exams instead of 10 months.)

After that doctors visit Izuku's life became so much worse. Everyone he cared about turned on him. His mother and father avoided him, his mother still tried to talk to him sometimes, even though it was only once in a while she showed it, she still cared about him, he was her son after all. 

His brother and 1 of his best friends bullied him constantly, along with the rest of the school, elementary and middle school, and his other best friend either ignored him or gave him icy cold glares, which hurt more than any of the bullying because he actually loved him. 

So his life turned for the worse. 

He started cutting himself as a way to make him feel better. To drown out all of the voices telling him that he's useless, worthless, powerless, a deku. 

But he hung through it all so he could become a hero. Hero. That meant everything to him. He wanted to be a hero. He wanted to help people and be their light when they're in darkness. But no one would let that happen.
