"Wh-Wha-"

"Shut up for a second,"

~~~
He's like the sun.
That was Izuku's first thought when he met him, the blonde boy that had stolen his heart with one glance.
His mom introduced him to her best friend, Mitsuki Bakugou, and her son, Katsuki.
With one glance from the boy, Izuku was entranced.
With his glowing aura that you couldn't even try to ignore, his bright, blonde hair that was like a golden crown, and a personality that can't leave your mind.
Katsuki was like the sun.
So, Izuku followed him, in hopes that he could stay in the light.
So the flower in his chest, that blooms more every time he's with him, could stay alive.
Even if Katsuki looks at him weirdly compared to the other kids, even if he hasn't gotten his quirk yet, even if Katsuki had started to ignore him.
He'll continue to chase after him.
For he is the sun.
And the flowers in his chest need the sun to bloom.
~~~

He's like the sun.

Izuku could only admire him from afar, or he'd get burned.

Whenever he turned his attention to the greenette, the flowers in his chest would grow a little more. Yet, when he got too close, they'd shrivel and die a little more by the burning, scorching heat.

Yet.

He couldn't help it.

He needed him to live.

He couldn't live without the light, even if it blinded him.

He couldn't live without the heat, even if it burned him.

He couldn't live without the sun, even if it did more harm than good.

So, he followed behind him silently, ignoring the crushing feeling in his chest as his flowers withered.

He couldn't help it.

~~~
He's like the sun.
Izuku noticed how he drew everyone's attention, even accidentally.
How he'd catch the eyes of people when he passed their field of vision.
How they couldn't ignore him.
The flowers in his chest, despite being shriveled and almost dead, couldn't help but crave his attention.
He'd sneak glances at him, only for his dried up flowers to ease the pain in his chest, if only slightly.
And when he'd give his attention, something Izuku's never gotten in full earnest, to the red-headed boy, then his flowers made it so he couldn't breathe.
Izuku's life was controlled by these flowers.
They'd make him chase after the one thing he'll never be able to reach.
Every day, as the boy hurt him less and less, his flowers began to grow again.
He hopes, that one day, the sun will turn his gaze to him once again, to turn his shriveled up, dried out flowers they were, into the garden he hopes they can become.
Until then, he'll just keep chasing after the sun's gaze.
And hope, that one day.
He'll turn his gaze to him all by himself.
~~~

A knock on the door broke Izuku from his analysis trance. Standing up from his desk and walking to the door, he was almost immediately blinded.

"K-Kacchan?"

There, at his door, was the gaze he'd been chasing after his whole life.

Looking at him.

Without any prompting, Katsuki strolled right in.

"W-Wait!" Izuku scrambled after him, though not before closing the door.

He watched as the boy stood near his bed, before resting his heated glare onto him, causing his flowers to grow and his face to burn.

"Deku," he spoke, rather calmly for once.

Izuku couldn't help but gulp.

"Y-Yes?" His voice shook.

Seeing the state the poor boy was in, the blonde walked over to him and pulled him close.

"Wh-Wha-"

"Shut up for a second," Katsuki sighed.

Izuku wordlessly nodded into the broad chest.

His own being filled with blooming flowers.

"Keep your gaze on me," Katsuki pulled his face up from his chest and held it in his hands.

The flowers in his chest grow into a bush of roses.

"Don't look at anyone else."

The bush grows into a garden of tulips.

"Stay with me, for however long you can."

The garden grows into a field of sunflowers.

"Say you love me."

The boy pulled his face in close until their lips couldn't keep a space between them.

Pulling away, they both kept their eyes closed as Katsuki continued speaking.

"You're like the moon to me," he confessed.

Izuku's eyes flew open, as he stared into the burning, sun-like eyes.

"I can't help but think you're the most beautiful thing. I can't live without you orbiting me. You're always with me, even in my darkest hours."

Little droplets of tears fell down the freckled cheeks of the moon.

"Your freckles remind me of little craters. Your eyes are wide and round, full of secrets and serenity."

They were wiped away by the sun holding him.

"I want you, for the rest of my life."

Closing his eyes, Izuku could only silently nod, relishing the feeling of the hand on his cheek and the sunflowers in his chest.

He could only whisper one thing that night, as the two laid in bed, watching the moon, fall and the sun, rise.

"You make me bloom."
