"Rio!"

"Izu!"

~~~
Izuku liked his seat in class. He was seated right next to the windows, so he was able to see everything outside clearly. It also gave an escape route if he ever needed one.
He liked to look out the window whenever he finished his work, or when the teacher of the current class was talking about something he already knew. He just looked out the window at the same view every day.
Which was why he was confused when he saw a white blob at the gate. For some reason, the white blob looked somewhat familiar to him.
It wasn't until Nezu came out and walked the guest inside, as he saw the black blurs on the back of the person's neck did he recognize them.
And as he was about to jump out of his chair and race to Nezu's office, an announcement played that confirmed his suspicions.
"Will Izuku Midoriya please make his way towards the principal's office? Izuku Midoriya to the principal's office," Nezu's voice was heard through the loudspeaker, causing the teacher, Ectoplasm since he was in math class, to pause and the rest of his classmates to stare.
He didn't waste any time and raced out of the classroom with his backpack, and the yelling of Iida to not run through the hallways.
He knew who was here.
And he was so sure they were dead.
Running to the door to the principal's office, Izuku slammed it open with a loud bang, though no one in the room flinched at the loud noise.
"Rio!" Izuku yelled, running over to embrace the white-haired girl.
"Izu!" She yelled back, hugging him back just as tightly.
"How are you- I thought you were- But I saw-!" Izuku said, cutting himself off before he could finish each question before he just stopped talking entirely and just sobbed in the hug.
"Sh, sh, sh. It's ok, see? I'm still here!" She said holding his crying face in her hands like a mother to a child.
He sniffed and rubbed away the remaining tears before smiling back at her.
"Yeah. You're here," he whispered, diving back into the hug.
They were broken out of their moment by someone clearing their throat.
They both jumped a little, forgetting about the other occupant in the room.
"Now, children," Nezu said, gesturing to the two seats in front of his desk. "We should have a talk, yeah?"
The two, with a shared glance, broke apart and took a seat in the ones the principal gestured to.
"Now, let's start from the beginning...Shall we?" Nezu asked, taking a sip of his tea.
"Do you want to start Izu or should I?" The girl, Rio, asked, turning to Izuku.
"I can start if you're uncomfortable, Rio," He said, causing Rio to nod before he turned to Nezu and started talking.
"Well, when I was four years old, my birth parents sold me to this human experimentation camp for quirkless children, since, I was born quirkless, and there I met Rio. There were other kids, around 18 kids other than us. They were trying to experiment with us to see why we didn't get quirks and other children did. They would give us drugs and chemicals for us to react to, which turned all of the children's hair white. My hair isn't actually naturally green, it's brown, but after the experiments and my hair turned white, after I got out I decided to dye it green to match Inko's. Anyway, at around the age of ten, six years being experimented on, Rio and I, with the help of the other kids, were able to fight back against the guards and try to escape. As we were escaping, one of the scientists set the building on fire and I was able to escape by Rio pushing me out the window. The building came down just as I landed on the grass outside. I thought everyone died. My friends, family...sister..." Izuku explained, wiping away the tears at the end before he took a deep breath and explained some more.
