LTY II: B. Memoir

I suddenly doubt who I hugged when I can't smell my wife's bold floral-woody scent she usually wears each day.

Nika always uses that perfume and I even gave her one as a gift for her birthday when I thought she was running out of it. She was genuinely happy to receive that one from me but then one day when she asked me find something on her drawers, I accidentally discovered and saw ten freaking bottles of it and more of other types of high-end perfumes hidden in her vanity cabinet. I just recently bought her one like two days before that time. She might be just glad that's why she accepted it wholly and smiled to me genuinely.

"Sir?" I was brought back to reality when a person talked. I immediately released the hug because I just confirmed that it wasn't my wife.

"Who are you?" I asked abruptly due to tremor.

"I'm sorry sir. I was hired by ma'am Yanika to check on the house while she's gone and also to maintain and clean it with my team. So, if you'll excuse me sir, let me do my job," she said and turn her back at me.

I went to our room to check it when somebody came out holding boxes of my wife's clothes. "Jamkkanman (wait)! What are you guys doing? Why are you taking my wife's clothes?" I was really angry when they were emptying the racks.

"Put them back!!!" I didn't notice I screamed so madly that everyone in the room flinched.

"I'm sorry sir. We were just taking orders from our clients. And we were told to empty the racks. We are just doing our jobs," one of the staffs explained to me calmly.

"I own this house too and if I said that you are not taking any of my wife's belongings, I mean it. Put them back and get the hell out of my house." I was infuriated.

They left all boxes and movable racks containing Yanika's clothes and all went out of the room. They all stormed out of my house when I told them too.

What the hell is happening!?

I was so mad when I went to her walk in and everything was already taken out. I was so confused because Yanika told me that she will give me three months to think while she was taking a vacation. She didn't say she's not coming back, did she?
