Motherhood is indeed messy.
It's pretty challenging.
It's crazy.
It will make you sleepless.
It's giving.
And it's undeniably beautiful.
I salute my mom for raising a kid like me. I won't deny the fact I am a one of a kid when I was little and definitely a pain in the ass too. Well, most probably until now I am still the same Yanika my mom and dad brought to this world.
I salute all the mothers in the whole world for being a brave person who stands up even though it's so tough for them. It's definitely a bizarre thing and it's a once in a lifetime experience.
You just realized that once upon a time, you were single and free then you woke up one day, you are now carrying a life, an official mom.
You have a responsibility to take care of. You have kids that will change your entire life quickly. A swift change from a free spirited to a restricted one.
Your patience might run out but heck you cannot give up because you have life in your hands.
It's totally hard but as they have said it's fulfilling and beautiful.
Mi niña and mi niño are now my life. They make my head ache but they were also the pill that could take away the pain immediately.
I cannot believe I raised them alone, not literally alone but with the help of the best people around me.
They say I raised them beautifully but sometimes I am still frigging out because of how mature thinkers they are. Just like now, I will go and pick up the rest of our luggage and left them in the waiting area when mi Shielo told me that she wanted to independently go to the store to buy some candy bars for her and her brother. And whispered to me that she doesn't wanna disturb her brother who was reading a book. So, she said if she can go alone because basically, she can.
