LTY II: L. Heartless

As days went by, Jeonghan has the feeling that something is wrong with him. He couldn't figure out why he felt empty inside even though he constantly has dates with his girlfriend for the past days after the incident. He tried to shrugged off the divorce papers because he already consulted his managers and even seek for legal advice on what to do but it was way too late. 

"Are you okay hubby?" Sowon asked his boyfriend who look like in deep thoughts.

Jeonghan was suddenly startled by that. "Oh? Gwaenchana (I'm okay). I'm just thinking of something," he answered her. Ever since that day when he dreamt drunk and accidentally calling his wife out loud, Sowon began calling him hubby and he felt so uncomfortable and startled every time.

"Baby, you have been like this for a month now. You look lost every time I'm with you like you are thinking of something so deep. If I ask you, you always shut me. Why is that? Am I not supposed to know what's happening? We've been in a relationship for more than a year now," Sowon started sulking.

They were in Jeonghan's unit. He has his own apartment now. He successfully acquired it this year because he couldn't take to go back to his and his wife's house because it hits him always that his wife was no longer going back to him.

Jeonghan didn't talk and he just look at the angry Sowon who was looking at him like she's going to eat her alive.

"Jeonghan~ah! Wae!?" she began shouting so loudly.

"Do you love her now, huh?!" she continued and Jeonghan just furrowed her brows with the ridiculous judgment.

Do I? he asked himself. Wait, what?

"Do you miss her because she left you? Or you felt guilty divorcing?" those words hit Jeonghan hard and wrinkles form his forehead that moment. He looks at Sowon intently.

"Wae! Tell me! don't just look at like I am an idiot waiting for your answer!?" she beseeched.

Jeonghan told her that she indeed filed divorce but that's the end of it. He hadn't told her that the papers were actually now processed.

"What did you say?" he asked.

"I said tell me if you love her already!" she repeated.

"No, the other one," he said trying to catch her.

"I said do you now feel guilty the you are now divorced!?" she screamed harshly. She was taken aback of what she told and she began feeling cold sweats on her palm.

"Divorced?" Jeonghan curiously repeated the past tense word.

"W-what I-I w-want to say... was do you feel guilty that you have signed the papers?" she lied and stuttered infront of Jeonghan who knew her too well.

"Sowon~ah! What did you do?" Jeonghan trying to calm himself but then those words came out with so much emphasis. Sowon began feeling fear from Jeonghan's outrage. She's trembling that she began to feel the anxiety and then she just broke down.

"I was just trying to help you because you told me you're feeling guilty and you felt so heavy. I gave the papers to your wife's lawyer because I was just so concerned about you baby. Please don't be mad at me. I don't want you to look miserable and I just want you to know that you aren't really meant to be. Baby, I did it because I love you and I just wanted to help you," she crawled to Jeonghan location to plead.
