After Winona and Steven escort them all to Lavaridge they both decided to leave early the next morning to talk what they now know to their director seeing as it concerns the whole region
"Oh Ashlyn, Steven's father asked me to give you these" Winona said handing an envelope to Ashlyn "He said that you should stop by once you get your fourth gym badge"
"Thank you Aunt Winona" Ashlyn said smiling before the Fortree City Gym Leader
"Win we have to go now" Steven said after he hugged both May and Max then shook Alain and Brendan's hands
"Alright, Oh and Ashlyn go easy on Flannery she's new" Winona said winking "And only use your papa's Pokemon if you have no other choice but to send out a third option. Oh and I expect a report tonight if you don't mind"
"You can count on me" She said as she waved them off

After a little bit of rest and a great breakfast Ashlyn and May decided to do a bit of shopping for supplies and other things while Max and Alain teach Brendan a few things about mega evolution.
"Do you think we can go to the hot springs later?" May asked her sister as they walked towards a herb shop
"Sure of the boys are up for it" Ashlyn said before smiling at Eira who was happily walking beside her and Lucario walking beside Eira
"Hm the sand baths look nice too" May said thoughtfully before looking down at Solana "What do you think Solana?"
"Perhaps we can try both May, both the league and Grand Festival are still relatively far away so we shouldn't be in a hurry" Ashlyn said before she entered the store

Meanwhile the boys were still discussing Mega evolution since Brendan seemed really interested being Professor Birch's son and all
"I can't believe that there are so many Pokemon that can mega evolve" Brendan said before looking at his Pokemon "Do I have any that can mega evolve?"
"Hmm....Marshtomp when he evolves into Swampert and Kirlia when she evolves into Gardevoir or Gallade" Alain said as he scratched under Zorua's chin and Pikachu's head
"Excuse me but Alain Sycamore you have a phone call waiting" Nurse Joy said into the intercom
"Don't worry I'll keep Brendan company" Max said grinning before Alain ruffled his hair
"Thanks" he said before heading to the phone booths
"Alain oh thank goodness, dad didn't wake you up" his little sister said glaring at someone who was off screen
"Hello Mairin, what can I help you with?" Alain asked smiling
"Dad wanted to ask you if you'd be cool with me delivering all three mega stone you sent from Devon Corp" she said before pouting "He said that I needed yours and your girlfriend's ok"
"She's not my girlfriend Mairin and he has good reason as to why you cant" Alain said making both Zorua and Pikachu chuckle at the little girl
"Awww.....please even for just a week with you guys. Tu me manques grand frère" Mairin said trying to make a kicked puppy face
"Fine you can try and convince Ashlyn later and yes I will be there" Alain sighed
"I'm sure your girlfriend wont mind" Mairin said smiling mischievously
"She's not my girlfriend" Alain said to Mairin
"Yet" Pikachu and Zorua continues snickering
