Story of my Life

The relentless,

           "Would you like to join me?" He asked, slowly letting his eyes lull over to me half smirking. "We absolutely need to, plus I get to shower with you? So you know it's a win-win!" His arms squeezed me a little, then unraveled from around me.

"I'll join you in a bit, I wanna lay in for a few more minutes." I spoke lightly but my voice was a little rasp and it made me smile. Slowly I pulled the blanket over my body and started to drift back to sleep, letting all of the happiness I feel sink in.

"It has been so long since I felt blissful or relaxed and I miss it. I want to feel like this forever. Happy, content, calm. The amount of stress I gain thinking about Andy, and Nino, even my surgery date, makes everything so much harder. So I'm going to savor this moment for as long as possible."

My eyes fluttered over at the sound of other voices, and when I looked at the clock I almost gasped. "I slept haft the day away, and no one woke me? Thank you Goddesses" The words fell sweetly from my lips and it gave me energy. Swiftly I pulled myself out of bed and rushed to the shower.

"Hey Tia, do you know what the
plan for tonight is??"

"Yeah, we're gonna go to a movie
then we're gonna split n do our own
things....."

"Who all is going to the movies?"
Seen at 6:53 pm.

"Everyone........ I think"
Read at 6:56 pm.

"Okay! Cool... I'll be down  in like 15."
Seen at 7.00 pm.

I hurried through my makeup routine and fixed my hair, then checked myself over one final time. My outfit looked really nice and I felt great. It didn't take me long to start heading down to the lobby, but as I approached the group I noticed the tall boy glaring around the hotel and when his eyes fell on me, the glare deepened. He rolled his eye and pulled Nino closer to him whispering in her ear.

"Kori! Wow, you're finally awake! I thought you were gonna sleep in all day. Look Andy, Kori's finally up!" Nino smiled and nudged Andy with her elbow.

He angrily looked me up and down then looked away. "Shouldn't we start heading over?" He lightly grabbed Nino's hand and pulled her towards the door. We all watched their weird interaction, and I couldn't help but smile and laugh to myself.

     "Anyone else feel like that was super uncomfortable, like mega weird?" Tia's ponytail bounced as she turned and she cracked a smile when see saw me laughing. "Kori?" She said sliding between Alec and Kai. "Let's go!"

She pulled me through the group of friends and we started for the front door of our hotel. The cab ride was short and it was a little weird not being in the same car with Seven, but I won't deny the fact that I like to see his texts when we're away from each other. My smile grew as I read the messages from him, knowing that I'm going to see him in a few minutes if not seconds.

   "What's got you so Smily?" Kai said shocking Layla, Tia and I. He pointed towards me and it helped me move from the shock of his voice.

                            "Oh, nothing just some memes on insta......" I lied trying my hardest not to give it away. "Kai, I don't think I've heard you speak before. You're voice is!......."

                           "Fucking Hot!" Layla blurted, cutting off the rest of my sentence. She cover her mouth for a quick second then dropped her hands and shrugged. "It's the truth. It's deep, soft and dominant. Like the growl of an Alpha Wolf or the voice of a Smart King." Layla finished describing what his voice was like and the blush on his face burned brighter.
