It had been a couple weeks, since that disaster of a dinner. I still hadn't told my friends and I was kinda ignoring any texts that came through, most being from my dad.

The angry Andy's texts were really heart breaking. I thought he was a good guy, and that he could maybe see past my imperfection. My father's texts consist of half apologies, and him asking to try again. I read the first couple but after Andy's I didn't have the heart to read any more.

It was an early Tuesday morning and the October air was crisp. I hadn't talked to my friends that much this past week and it was making me feel shittier than what I already did. I mean we would hangout at school, but I was quiet and more background-ish.

I finished getting ready and came down the stairs. As I rounded the corner a knock at the door stopped me from going to the kitchen.

I spun on my heels and walked over, slowly looking through the peep hole. Whoever it was had their hand over the peephole. I opened the door and was greeted with a large coffee and a donut. Tia came in and hugged me, letting herself and Seven in. Seven winked as he followed his sister into the kitchen and it kinda threw me off.

"Hey guys I thought we were gonna meet at school." I said following them both into the kitchen. They were sitting at the table with their phones, Tia was looking for something specific and when she found it she handed the phone to me.

I looked at the message that Andy sent Tia a few days back and she just frowned. "What happened? I thought you guys really liked each other." She asked taking her phone back.

I sighed heavily before I brought myself to speak. "I have to tell you guys something." I put the coffee down on the table and sat down. "I don't want you guys to hate me for not telling you. It didn't seem like such a big deal."

They both put their phones down and looked at me quizzically. "Kori, I think it's totally impossible to hate you." Seven joked.

I half smiled and prepared myself emotionally for another storm out. "I'm trans." I whispered.

Tia smiled and scooted closer. "Say That again please?" Her eyes beamed with excitement and happiness.

I looked over at Seven, then put my head down. "I'm Trans." I said more vocal than the last time. When I looked up at Seven again his expression didn't change from slick talking bad boy.

They both stood up, walked around to me and hugged me tight. "We're so glad you told us." Seven whispered in my ear. I felt the tears start to roll down my face, and they hugged me tighter.

Tia snapped away from the hug looking me dead in my eyes. "Is that why he's been being a dick lately? Because you told him." She asked angrily.

"No, I didn't get the opportunity to tell him myself because my piece of shit dad and his two boys told him." I said lightly shaking my head.

They both stared for a minute and then smiled. "We've got to get to school." Seven said wickedly.

"Wait! I need you guys to promise your not gonna tell anyone. It's mine to tell." I said grabbing my backpack from the chair. They both looked at me devilishly, making me feel like something was about to happen.

30 minutes later we were at school and I had told Layla specifically for the plan that Seven and Tia had come up with. I'm not normally a 'get back at them' kind of person, but Seven and Tia were so persuasive that I ended up going with it.

"Let me get this straight. You're Trans, and when Andy found out he started being an asshole to you. So to get back at him, my boyfriend wants to pretend that somethings going on between you? Just to get back at him for the terrible things he sent Tia about you?" She smiled wickedly as she went over the plan again.
