"Excuse me, but a Hufflepuff girl is calling for you." A first year girl told me. I was sitting on one of the sofas in the commons and working on a potions essay. Snape has been very vindictive lately. I guess it has to do with Professor Lupin being here, but that's no excuse. He really should learn to let stuff go. I know that what happened to him was really horrible, but that was who knows how many years that was. And I'm pretty sure Sirius apologized... at least I hope. I'll ask him about it later.  "And she sounded worried." The girl continued, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Okay, thanks." I said smiling at the girl. When I made it outside of the portrait entrance, Susan was standing there looking anxious. "Susan, what's wrong?"

"It's Shay. She needs you to meet her at the library." She said frowning.

"How serious is it?" I asked frowning.

"Cho Chang is involved." She muttered.

"Ah, okay. I'll grab my stuff and head over there as soon as possible." I told her.

"Okay. Please hurry. She's really upset." Susan said, and then she whispered, "Her wings came out."

"Oh, oh okay." I said understanding the situation now. "Got it." She nodded and hurried off. I went back into the commons and grabbed my stuff before heading out to the library. I passed Theo on the way and told him where I was headed to if anyone needed anything. At the library, I went back to Shay's and I's usual table for when we wanted to spend time with each other. She had her homework with her, but she wasn't actually doing it. She was spaced out and I can tell she had been crying. "Hey," I said softly, so that I don't scare her.

"Hey," She said sniffling. "I hate boys and I hate Cho Chang."

"What happened?" I asked her.

"I was just trying to get things back to normal because I was tired of everyone walking around on egg shells around me." She grumbled. "First, Hagrid tells me that he took Spike back to where he belongs and now this." She sighs. "Apparently, Fred doesn't think he can come to me or any one of our other friends to vent. And instead, he chooses to talk to fucking Cho Chang. Now, she thinks she knows everything about me because of the things Fred told her!"

"What exactly did he tell her?" I asked curiously.

"I didn't bother asking, but she did say I went mental." She said glowering at her homework. "Oh! And you know what the best part is? He thinks I'm high strung and that the fact that I have wings growing out of my back makes it hard to talk to me! Ugh!"

"So, I'm guessing you told him to fuck off and stormed out of there?" I asked her.

"Yeah, and I managed to make it back to my commons before my wings popped out." She muttered. "I just want to be normal."

"I know." I said sighing. "There isn't much I can do about the wings. But if you want, I know someone who's willing to help me get back at Cho. I was thinking about talking to Fred, but I think I'll let Trollface handle that."

"Why Trollface?" Shay asked, confused.

"Because Fred will only listen to Trollface at this point in time." I said shaking my head. "So, I'm going to tell Trollface to talk to Fred and in the meantime, I've got some plans to make."

"Okay," She said shaking her head. "Can you stay with me until I get my work done?"

"Yeah, I brought some work of my own." I said nodding. "Snape is being vindictive."

"You know why." She said rolling her eyes.

"I do. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to complain." I said sticking my tongue out at her. "Besides, I want to figure out a way to keep Snape from telling everyone."
