Having to wait until Hermione got petrified wasn't going to happen. Shay needs help NOW and if telling Ron and Harry about the Basilisk sooner than what was written in the book will help, then I will tell them. "Pyper, are you okay? That's a stupid question, of course you're not." Pansy said shaking her head. We're in my (well Astoria's too) room right now. Some gits were bullying  Astoria and Pansy being the most amazing person ever went to Snape about it before it got too out of hand. Astoria is really cool person to hang out with.

"Yes, I'm okay. I'm worried about Shay, but I'm okay. I have a plan." I said grimly.

"What are you talking about?" She asked confused.

"Pansy, what I'm about to tell you, you have to promise not to repeat it to anyone. Okay?" I told her frowning. She nodded,  still confused. "Okay, you know how Shay and I have been staying with McGonagall, right?"

"Of course. She took you and Shay in when you told her about not having any memories of how you got there." Pansy said nodding.

"Right. Well, during that year we stayed there, Shay and I found some books. These books... aren't like normal books. Yes, they tell a story, but it's not fiction and it's not something that happened in the past." I said hoping I didn't confuse her more.

"Okay, you're making a little sense. Could you elaborate a bit more?" She asked.

"The books are of our future here at Hogwarts." I said bluntly. "They're in Harry's point of view, but they're accurate to say the least."

"How can there be books about the future?" She asked exasperatedly.

"There are Time Turners." I said giving her a deadpanned look. "How can there not be books about the future?"

"You have a point." She conceded. "Do you still have these books?"

"Yes, but I don't think it's a good idea to get them out right now." I said sighing. "Anyway, Shay and I read the books before we came to Hogwarts and everything we've read has happened so far. Like this year for instance, the monster of Slytherin is running around the school and petrifying students as it says in the books."

"You know what the monster is, don't you?" Pansy said wide-eyed.

"I do and Ron and Harry will find out when Hermione gets petrified, but I can't wait that long." I said scowling.

"Hermione is going to be petrified?" Pansy asked wide-eyed.

"If I tell the three of them about it now, it won't happen." I said thoughtfully. "I just know that we need to go down to the Chamber of Secrets."

"Wait, last year. You knew what was going on last year, didn't you?" Pansy asked frowning. "Why didn't you or Shay say anything?"

"Because we were scared to mess with it, but now I don't care. I want to protect my sister and my friends. In those books, Shay and I don't even exist in it. Meaning, everything in those books was supposed to happen the way it was but with us being here, it's already changed a lot." I said frowning. "That's why I don't care about how much Shay and I change the timeline."

"What can I do to help?" Pansy asked  me with determination in her eyes.

"I need to talk to the GT and Harry is the only one who can open the Chamber of Secrets. Ginny is being controlled and I'm pretty sure she's going to go missing soon. So, we have to hurry. I need you to help me get the black diary she has away from her. It's important that we take it with us to the Chamber of Secrets." I said equally determined.

"Okay. You can leave the book to me." She said nodding.

"Thanks, Pansy. You're a really good friend and I couldn't ask for a better one." I said smiling at her. She hugged me.
