What time is it? It's Summer Time!

It's the last day of school and everyone is scrambling to get everything packed. I'm a little sad to be leaving Hogwarts, but at the same time, I'm excited. Shay and I are going to be spending time at Alex's this summer. We got good marks on our exams too! Minnie called us into her office to tell us how proud she was of us. It made me feel happy inside when she told us that. I hope that whatever happens in the future, I won't do something that disappoints her. If that had happened, I'd feel shitty about it. "It's really sad leaving, isn't it?" Daphne said as the two of us packed.

"Yeah, I'm going to miss Hogwarts. I can't imagine what's going to happen once we graduate." I said frowning. "I won't be able to come back here anymore after that."

"It's too sad to think about, so stop it!" Daphne said scowling at me.

"Yes, ma'am." I said grinning. "So, what are your plans for the summer?"

"My sister and I don't really do much during the summer. But I think my parents are taking us on a family vacation." Daphne said thoughtfully.

"When does your sister start Hogwarts?" I asked her curiously.

"She'll start next year." Daphne said smiling. "I hope she'll get to room with us. I know there's the possibility that it won't happen though."

"Maybe Snape will be nice and let her room with us." I said, shrugging.

"Yeah, maybe." Daphne said, giggling. "I hope you have a good summer, Pyper."

"Thanks, I plan to." I said smiling. "We'll have to write each other."

"Yes, I look forward to it." Daphne said as she put the last of her stuff away.

"Pyper, are you done yet?" Pansy asked walking into the room. I rolled my eyes.

"Almost Pansy." I said shaking my head. "I told you that ten minutes ago."

"I know! I can't help it if I want to hang out with you on the last day of school!" She said scowling at me.

"I'll write you this summer, too." I said smiling at her. "Maybe if we can talk Alex's parents into it, you can come hang out with us one of the days Shay and I are there."

"We'll see." Pansy said grimacing. "My mom is strict about who I hang out with. I swear she's just trying to live through me."

"I'm sorry. That must suck." I said grimacing.

"Yeah, it sucks a lot. But oh well. You can't choose who your family is." Pansy said shrugging. "Now, hurry up! We don't have much time!"

"Yes, yes. I'm putting the last thing in now." I said rolling my eyes as I put away the last of my books. I swear I didn't have this many in the beginning of the year. "Do you want to join us, Daphne?"

"I'm going to hang out with Ginny, actually. Thanks for asking though." Daphne said smiling at me. I nodded.

"Okay. I'll see you later then!" I said grinning at her. I followed Pansy out of the room and down into the commons area. Theo and Blaise were sitting in there.

"It's about time." Blaise said rolling his eyes.

"I know, right?" Pansy asked shaking her head.

"It's not my fault you three pack your trunks at insane speeds." I muttered.

"We just used magic," Blaise said looking at me like I was stupid.

"I've done things the muggle way for a long time, so leave me alone." I said, pouting. "Besides, I wanted to make sure everything was packed neatly. Minnie likes it when Shay and I pack our stuff neatly."
