It was a Wednesday afternoon in May when Shay found me before I made it to my commons. The Slytherin vs Hufflepuff match was coming up soon. So, everyone was kind of hyped.  So, seeing Shay now is refreshing because Flint has been working us to the bone in between studying. "Come on, we need to talk about next year." She told me and I nodded. Next year is when things will start to change. We decided to talk in the RoR. Ugh, why do we have to climb up a bunch of stairs!? We decided on a room that reflected both of our commons combined. So, it was quite cozy in there. "We need to figure out what we're going to do about Pettigrew."

"We should write Sirius and tell him the truth about Pettigrew." I said frowning.

"Do you think he will believe us?" Shay asked worriedly.

"Probably not. But we have to try." I said sighing. "If we can get him to believe us, maybe we can help him by stopping Pettigrew from running away."

"But what about keeping to the timeline?" She asked frowning.

"The events written in those books were written without us, Shay. I don't know what's going on, but we're not supposed to be here, whatever it is." I said shaking my head. "We've already changed the timeline by being here. So, what's it going to hurt by changing it more?"

"I guess you have a point." She said nodding. "How do we stop Pettigrew?"

"We can't right now. Ron will think we're more mental than he already does." I said rolling my eyes. "We should stick to writing to Sirius. He needs to believe us first before we can help him."

"We should tell Minnie." Shay said thoughtfully.

"But how are we going to convince her that Sirius is innocent?" I asked her exasperatedly.

"We tell her about the books." She said as if it was that simple. "If we tell her about the books now, cuz I know we'll have to eventually, she won't be so mad about it."

"Okay." I said nodding. "When should we do that? She's probably busy with preparing for the exams."

"We'll just have to tell her because I don't think we'll find a good time to do it at this point." Shay said shaking her head.

"You have a point." I conceded. "Okay. How about before dinner?"

"Do you have the books on you?" Shay asked me.

"Yeah, they're in my trunk." I said nodding. "I'll have them in my bag when we talk to her."

"Good. Then I'll meet you outside your commons at 6:30." Shay said smiling. "Pansy knows about this right?"

"Yeah. If we do end up needing extra help, we can always go to Pansy." I said grinning.

"That makes things a bit easier." She said relieved. "I've got to go. Fred needs my attention today." We left the RoR and looked around a bit before going back downstairs.

"Don't ignore him too much." I teased and she stuck her tongue out at me.

"I don't ignore him on purpose!" She said with a pout. "People just need my help."

"Sure, sure." I said grinning. "I'll see you around little sis!"

"Jerk!" She called after me as I took off down the stairs as fast as I could. I snickered and made my way back to my commons. I was supposed to meet up with Pansy and we were going to hang out with Alex and Neville to study.

"Pyper, where have you been?" Pansy asked scowling at me.

"I'm sorry. Shay needed me for a little bit." I said shrugging.
