When Preeta excused herself, she went to the bathroom. She heard tears in eyes and was having so many emotions and memories. Seeing her beloved son in his father's arms really made her feel emotional. She knows that Karan loves their son but how are they going to make his life better; what if he disagrees with her and something bad happens to their son or what if he decides to take him away. Preeta isn't ready to lose her son to anyone not even to her son's father. But she also knew that they must find ground to help them raise their son the best way possible. She's not that harsh to deprive her son from his father's love. When she left the washroom, she doesn't know how she ended up in this room but here she was looking around in Karan's bedroom admiring his photos and artistic stuff. In the corner of his room; there was a big framed photo of hers.

She couldn't believe what she was seeing, because even though she still remembers this day; she has no idea about this photo. Maybe Karan took it without her knowledge. On the other hand, Karan excused himself to get his camera so he takes photos of his son with his family members, he had left in his bedroom. And when he entered he got surprised to see Preeta there. Preeta who wasn't alert when he came didn't hear him walk in till she had him say " beautiful isn't ?". Preeta was scared but then turned and saw Karan staring at her. "Am sorry, it wasn't my intention to come in here", Preeta apologized and was walking out but stopped the minute she had Karan say "no, it's okay, your free to enter in this room as much as you want. I mean....... this is like your house", he told her calmly. Their eyes locked and no one was moving or saying anything instead old memories started floating in their minds. Karan was remembering their happy memories while Preeta was remembering the bad times. Out of the blue, tears started coming out of her eyes and she couldn't control them. She tried to leave but Karan held her hand and said "please don't go, please I beg you don't go".
Mahesh Luthra was the happiest grand father. He was feeling so happy and very proud. "My friends used to taunt me how I don't have grandchildren but I have the cutest and most handsome grandson", he told his family who smiled at him. "I thought this day wouldn't come, ever since I found out about my grandchild, I always thought we will never meet him because Preeta had left us", Rahki muttered. "She found us and not only that but she helped us when no one could. She's truly an angel, I hope she and my son sort out their problems and become a family. I love her much and I would like for her to become my daughter-in-law", Mahesh said. "Don't worry now, am sure Karan and Preeta will get a happy ending", Bani said and Rahki questioned "if she's sure". "Yes, am sure about it, those two still have unfinished business. There is love between them that has always been there that we ignored because we misjudged her and trusted the wrong people", Bani said looking at Kareena. Kareena looked down because she was still feeling guilty for what happened. She trusted Sheilyn and Mahira the very people who destroyed her family. And even though her family were victims, Preeta was the biggest victim in all the wrongs that were done. She lost herself and left her home. "The guilt I feel everyday is gonna be my life long punishment", Kareena murmured. "You think Preeta will ever forgive me?, she questioned and Bani told her "Preeta is a forgiving person so she will forgive her".
Rakhi looked around for Karan because he had told them that, he's gonna get a camera but he isn't coming back. "Neither is Preeta", Kritika murmured. They looked at each other and wondered why both were missing. And they all had different reasons as why they are missing but didn't voice them, for Rahki she thought maybe they were fighting somewhere like they always did so she went to look for them. "Let go of my hand Karan", Preeta said not looking at Karan because she had tears in her eyes and him holding her hand was making her feel things she didn't want to. "Please don't leave me", Karan knelt down and held her in the waist while pleading. "Please forgive me, I know I hurt you very much and am sorry; he repeated sorry so many times. Rakhi was by the door looking at them emotionally, she didn't want to eavesdrop but she couldn't help it. She had her son pleading and saw that they were all crying. "I was a bad friend, a bad husband, I should've trusted you then and I shouldn't have done what I did to you. I accept my mistakes and am now asking you to please forgive me because I can't live without you. I love you very much Preeta Arora, please forgive me. I promise to be a better friend to you, a better man for you, a better father for our son, but above all a better husband for you if you let me. Preeta, your the only thing on my mind. You don't understand how much you really mean to me. I need you in my life, you are my necessity, but believe me when I say that you're everything that will make my world complete. My love for you is clear because your the only thing I will ever see, you and our son. Please my love forgive me" Karan confessed emotionally. Rakhi who had just seen and heard all this left without looking back. She too had tears in his tears, she was feeling sorry for her son because he does love Preeta.
When Rahki got back, Kareena asked her why she took long and why was she crying but she lied saying something fell into her eyes, she wasn't going to say anything or tell anyone what she just heard and saw. Whatever it is, it's between her children and she prays and hopes that they sort out whatever needs to be sorted. Preeta couldn't believe what she was hearing. She didn't understand what was happening, this isn't the Karan she knew, the one she knew was very un apologist and he's pouring out his love for her? These are the words she always wanted, longed to hear. She's feeling so much just as much as he's feeling. She knelted down and hugged him but didn't say anything and for some few minutes but after, she started feeling awkward about it. She left Karan's arms and run out without saying anything. This was too much and she wasn't expecting it. Karan tried calling but she didn't stop, and even didn't bid farewell to Luthras. She just passed them went into her car and drove off. Karan had come chasing her but he stopped at the door way and sat by it and couldn't control his tears. His mum came and hugged him. Thank God their son was in the kitchen with Girish preparing something for him and didn't see this.
After Preeta had drove off to God knows where, she remembered that she left her son at Luthra house. So she sent Sammy a text to take him at her house and that she needs some time alone.
