Kareena didn't mean to eavesdrop but she couldn't help herself. She was curious to know what was happening even though she already knew about them. At first she had declined but when she heard Karan ask something; she got curious, happy and excited too. So out of curiosity, she stayed by the door and listened.

"I would like to change my son's name from Arora to Luthra. But if it's fine with you. I won't force it if you don't like it".

"And I thought, you wouldn't never ask, of course you can sweet heart. Your his dad and its the right thing to do. However I have a small request from you".

"Yes, what is it; anything for you".

Preeta smiled at Karan and said how sweet he is and hoped he stayed like that.

Kareena who was hiding smiled and was surprised at the same time because she has never seen Karan be this 'sweet' with any girl ever.

"Anyway what I want from you is to pick another name for him too. You see; poor kid gets confused every time someone calls you. He thinks they are calling him and it makes me sad. He can still have Karan as his name but we can always add another one. Any name of your choice".

"Really?" He asked surprisingly

"Yes"

"You deserve it and like I said your his dad and am giving you an opportunity and also letting you to be part of his life and your allowed to make decisions for him as well".

He smiled and nodded.

He then asked her when she will take his name

"Well am half Preeta Karan Luthra and am sure we would have been happily married by now had you trusted me then" she said sadly.

"Am sorry sweetheart, but I promise that nothing of that sort will ever happen again. My mind is now conscious and I know what I want and that's you Preeta Arora".

"That's in the past now. Anyway if you come with me to the States we can do the name change soon since that's where he was born".

"Going back so soon?", you didn't tell me about it why now?"

"I got an email yesterday and things aren't going well over there. There are proposals I must look into and meetings to attend too. And lastly there are people that need to be fired"

"Can't you send Sophia or Dianne to take care of things?".

"I wish I could but that's impossible and Dianne is going with me and Sophia will be in charge here. And Karan me asking you to come with me isn't just about the name change of our son but I want to spend some time with you without hiding, I want you to meet my other friends I left there and see places I visited and liked. I want you to experience my life and this is because I love you. So will you come or not?".

"Of course am coming. I can't pass up that opportunity of spending time with you. I wanna be with you and if spending it freely in another country with you is what you want so be it. Besides I won't be playing anytime soon because of the injury I have. I haven't told my family but it will take up to seven months".

"Seven months?, that's a long time and you lied you told me three months. Is it that serious?

He stared at her and said " if it were that seriously then I wouldn't have managed to make you......

"Stop, someone may hear you. You can't say that here; whatever happened in Lonvania stays in Lonvania"

"But I can't stop thinking about it", he muttered

"Me neither but we have to keep things low while we are in your house and now I suggest we get back to the party".

Kareena who had been listening to their conversation felt embrassed. She didn't think they would talk about their sex life like that. She had wanted to call them but the more they talked, the more she was intrigued until she heard their last conversation. After she heard Preeta tell Karan they get get back to the party, she left for her room to pick the gift for Mahesh but on her way back she realized Karan's bedroom was opened and went to lock it since they were some guests they didn't know; who knows but what she saw wasn't what she had ever imagined.
