"What did you just say ?" Karan asked looking more worried than ever; so many emotions were running through his body and for a second, he thought if Preeta had left because of him but felt at peace when Sammy told him, she's only gone for a few days as she had some work to do outside the city. The truth is that Sammy wanted him to know what was going on with Preeta, the pregnancy especially but he thought telling him now would just decrepit his plans yet he's very much determined to expose Mahira at any cost and free his brother from the mess he had put himself into and maybe after Karan had seen the kind of person Mahira, he will tell him everything about Preeta.

Even though Sammy had told him that Preeta is only gone for a few days, that didn't stop him from worrying. He felt like Sammy is lying to him but decided to take his word for it anyway. He the thought about what he had told him the other day, that Mahira ain't what she seems to be but felt apprehensive about him finding anything against her because he knew Mahira is a good person but didn't tell that to Sammy as he thought their relationship may again get ruined yet they were amending it. He also wasn't stupid to know that most of his family members preferred Preeta but he knew her more than they did because she ruined his life and his family's happiness and the reason why he agreed to marry Mahira since she will be a good daughter-in-law.

"Preeta what have you done to me, I know your not a good person but my heart earns for you, my thought are always about you, even though your not here, your still messing with my head" he told himself. He just had no idea how he was gonna get her out of his system, it felt strange because no one has ever affected him like she has, sometimes he feels like a different person. Before he had lots of girlfriend but ever since meeting Preeta he has no desire to even be touched or hugged by another girl even with Mahira. How will he manage to carry out his husband duties to Mahira if he's even scared of her touch?. He doesn't know what to do about it and its driving him crazy however he vowed to himself to get past it because he was gonna have a fresh start.

Later that day, Sammy met up with his girlfriend and as soon as he saw her, he ran so  first to give her a hug. He hugged her so tightly and told her how he missed her, the feeling was mutual with Shrishti as well. They sat down and ordered for their drinks. As they waited for the waiter,  Sammy asked Shrishti how she has been holding up and if there is any news about Preeta.
"No there is no news Sammy, she hasn't even given me call for that matter, I don't know how's doing. "Well they always say that bad news travel fast and if you haven't received any about her, it means she's fine but I promise you now on my life that we will find her" Sammy told her.

He had hired a private investigator to look for Preeta but didn't tell Shrishti  simply because he didn't want her to have false hopes but if he found her he wanted to surprise her, despite not worrying her, he himself was worried because it's coming to a month now and the investigator hasn't  given him any news. So he told her not be sad and she thanked him for always supporting her and being there when she needs him.
Out of the blue, he requested that she attends Karan's wedding but she  declined before he finished his sentence and looked at him like he had grown a second head. But he insisted and after telling her about the surprise about to take place at the wedding,  she told him "am listening  and it better be useful or else this is the last time you and I meet, got it".

"The reason I want you to attend the wedding is because there is gonna be a big bomb, one that is going to explode and terrify everyone present" Sammy told her while smirking. But she didn't understand him, so he explained to her what he had found out about Mahira and how he planned on exposing her. "Wow your such a genious, that's gonna be a blast, there is no way am missing  that wedding after what you've told me, now am dying to see that stupid  lousy and ugly face of Mahira, Sammy sweetie you've just scored more points, I love you very much, " That will be a sweet revenge on behalf of my sister" she told him holding his hand tightly.
"Can't I get a kiss for that, am such an intelligent boyfriend? Sammy asked her jokingly and he smiled giving him only a peck and he wasn't happy with it.
She then asked him about his dad and if he moved him as she had suggested to him, he told her he didn't but he had  installed a camera and also talked to the doctor to only inform him about his father's progess and so far, he said he could wake up anytime soon  but the family doesn't know that because I made sure and told the doctor that  in case anyone from the family asks him, he should give them a different answer and lie to them, I have put in  so much and sacrificed so much  to  fail now, it hurts to see them being unhappy with his condition but those are some of the sacrifices one makes.
"Am proud of you and your the best, I love you very much" she told him looking deep into his eyes, and responded by kissing her.
