When Preeta got back to the hotel; she went straight to her room and locked herself up. She didn't say anything but asked Dianne to look after her son because she had a fricking headache but she was lying and everyone could see through her. She was scared because Karan knew about her child, and Sarla advised her to show Karan his son because he loves the child despite not meeting him and that he always gushes about the child. But Preeta was also petrified of Karan taking her son away. He was her life and she doesn't know if she could spend her life without her son. She had a lot to think about. She also felt sad for not meeting her sister; being an event manager she travelled so much and now, she was out of town coming back the next week . Then, her thoughts moved to Sheilyn. All along she thought the Luthras were responsible for their bankruptcy but it turns out it was the cunning bitch Sheilyn. Preeta swore before leaving for the States that she will make Sheilyn pay and after knowing that the Luthras put in a complaint against her, she gonna do the same because now she has the evidence against her and its Mahesh's testimony.

Sarla was in cloud nine, she was so happy that she went at her friend's place to tell that, her daughter was finally back. "That car. I just saw packed at your house belongs to Preeta" Sarla's friend asked and she nodded. "She's changed and your daughter is now rich, I can imagine that you won't lack anything again Sarla. Preeta will take care of everything and that boy!, Is that her son and who is the father". After hearing that question, Sarla remembered that no one from the neighbourhood knew about Preeta's pregnancy then, and them as a family never told anyone. "Karan Luthra is the father", her friend looked at her surprised. The neighbours knew of the marriage and also that he abandoned her, so how is it possible that, they now have a son. Sarla told her friend she was also surprised when she found out because all she knew was that, they hated each other but was shocked with the news. "We had a fight and when we woke up the next day , she was gone" Sarla informed her friend. "But she's back and am happy for you my friend, you should be too", her friend told her. "I am happy but what will make me happier is if my children were to get married and settle down, I think Karan and Preeta still have chance; I realised that while talking to her and for Karan I know because he always says that he only loves Preeta, I mean that's what Shristi says all the time" Sarla muttered.

The next day in the morning, Preeta informed her friends that she was going to press charges against Sheilyn now that Mahesh is fine, he will support my complaint. "Do you realize that the Luthras are gonna find out that your back and they will begin to look for you?", Sophia asked her. "I know that but it doesn't matter anymore, the minute I decided to go visit mum, I knew they will find me anyway and I think am ready to finally meet them however that will wait because tomorrow am heading to Diehl for a week, we have doctors's conference and meeting " she told her. She went kissed her son goodbye as well as her friends and left.
Reaching at the police station all eyes were on her because Preeta Arora is a fricking goddess; wherever she goes men and women always stare at her but this is something she's used to now. She gave her complaint and testimony and the police officer promised to check if it conspire with that of Mahesh Luthra. She also asked the police officer to keep her updated on the case especially when Sheilyn is finally arrested. She thought of paying a visit to Mahira but decided to decline from doing so as the jail smells really bad and its a dirty place. She decided to head to work and also prepare some documents she's taking with her tomorrow.

Few hours later, Luthras were shown having lunch and talking about their up coming meeting with the new partners. They hoped they were good and trustworthy people because after Sheilyn and Mahira, it became difficult to trust people and if life has taught them something is that money isn't everything and that your true friends are the ones who are there for you in hard times; and also to never judge someone because of their statuses but to respect them because we don't know what comes tomorrow. We may have our plans but God's plans are different and his timing is also different hence sometimes Luthras think that maybe, it's God's punishment for whatever they did to the innocent Arora family. And even though ms. Sarla isn't angry at them like before, there is still that guilty because of them one of her daughters is still missing. The sad part is that, only Aroras were their true family friends despite not being from their circle, they always supported them emotionally and physically however they never appreciated them and now the people from their circle whom they considered family and friends no one came to given them any support from these hard times but again it's a stranger they hardly know coming to their rescue. So inviting them for dinner is a good gesture on their part and with these people they want to form a good business partnership as well as friendship❤.
