WE ARE PREGNANT

Something was up with Preeta and well, at least a few people - seemed to know what it was except for him and it was driving him crazy.

And it wasn't just that he was paranoid  (well at least he was 99%. Sure he was not being paranoid ), because he might not be the best at reading people but there was something that had happened to Preeta that was putting her family and friends on edge whether they admitted it or not.

It had all started when Preeta fainted three days ago. He, Preeta, Shrishti and Sophia had been sitting in the lounge at Preeta's house, talking and remnicing,  when Preeta said that she wasn't feeling too well, so she was going to bed. But then she started swaying as she stood up, her eyelids fluttering closed, and then she fell. It was only thanks to Sophia and Shrishti who were sitted right next to her, concern written clearly on their faces held her preventing her form hitting her head on the table. 

To say that Karan wasn't worried would be an underestimate. 

There was some commotion as Preeta, still unconscious, was carried to the car by me to take her to the hospital but that's where the help Karan was offering stopped. Both Sophia and Shrishti asked him to stay behind and look after his son who was already asleep. He wasn't happy about leaving him at home. He wanted to be with Preeta, he hopped that nothing was wrong with her and that she was just tied. He remained home but was very worried and really pissed Sophia who had ordered him to stay home, however he made them promise that they inform him about anything.

Sophia and driving and Shrishti sat behind with Preeta resting her head on her laps as Shrishti tried to wake her up but she was walking up which was making Shrishti even more worried about her sister.

"I hope my sister is fine and that it' s nothing serious. Do you know if she suffers from something serious?, I've never seen her faint".

"Not that I know anything about her health but I think we are worrying for no reason, I don't think what's happening is serious because it happened a few days ago, I told her to get checked but she said it was tiredness and nothing else but I else we will get a confirmation from the doctor today"

"What do you mean? You know what she's suffering from?"

"I think I do"

"Then tell me? Because you are worrying me".

"I think Preeta is pregnant".

Shrishti looked both very shocked and surprised at the same time. She looked from Preeta to anywhere.

"My sister is Preeta", she questioned 

"I suspected it a few days ago and when I confronted her about it, she told me she is a doctor who knows her body well and that it was nothing like a pregnancy. But I knew better because she was being adamant. You see,  She and Karan.........."

"Karan?" Questioned Shrishti

"Who else would it be?" Asked Sophia 

"No, that's not what I meant"

"You are not happy about it"

"Of course not; If it's true, I will be the happiest but I find it strange. Like now. Isn't it too soon and its not like  my sister would be this reckless".

"You are right but when two people who are madly in love, have a crazy active sex life, definitely there is a  possibilty that they would become reckless at some point trust me on that".

"Yeah right".

"Anyway, we will know the truth after the doctor has done those tests. However I still think we are going to become aunties for the second time". Sophia said excitedly.
