"Pre..è..ta!, Is this you?", Karan asked with shock on his face. He couldn't believe she was here and in his arms, looking beautiful and elegant more than ever. When Preeta heard her name, she opened her eyes and couldn't believe that of all people; it had to be him. They starred at each other for long but then it became awkward and Preeta had to tell him to let her go. When they stood properly, they again starred at each other. For Preeta she was happy from within but also cursing herself because this isn't how she wanted to meet him. For Karan, he just couldn't stop starring. This was a beautiful, elegant woman standing in front of him. He always knew she was beautiful but not like this. But also looking at her, he realized she's not the same person he knew three years ago. There is elegance and confidence in this Preeta. He wondered how life has treated her these past years. Her being in front of her brought back memories that were good. The first day he met her, their friendship that he ruined. He regrets a lot in his life but his biggest regret is going to be losing this woman because he was stupid and immature. He wished he had listened to her then. He has a lot to say to her but doesn't even know where to start from. However, he's still mesmerized by her beauty and innocence hence can't stop starring.

Preeta on the other hand like Karan, had so much going on in her head right now. Being in front of the man she loves brings both bad and happy memories. It felt like it was just them and didn't recognise people passing by and looking at them. Karan was known because he's a celebrity but no one knew her but no one disturbed their starring match. She wondered, had she stayed back, what could've happened between them and their son. Having him in front of her like this, she can't denay the striking resemblance between him and their son. Her thoughts moved to her son and got scared, what if he decides to take her son away? Preeta swore that if there was a chance and Karan was planning on taking her son, she will do anything to keep him. And that's when she heard someone call her name because she was needed. So she left without saying anything. Karan was still in dream land when he realised she's gone, he tried to go after her but was denied access by the security. He tried to bribe them even threaten them that he's Karan Luthra so he should pass but they didn't mind him. He was told that only stuff are allowed to pass through here. He wondered what Preeta's job was and her connection to this Hotel. He knew her as a physciotherapist so how come she now works in the hotel and as who?. He decided to join his family and when he reached at their table, he was the happiest. He was happy in the morning as they left home but now his happiness is on another level. They asked him why he's happy. Has he seen his little friend Karan?, Them knowing th st the little boy's mum is the boss thought he has met him again however he just kept on smiling and said I meant someone but didn't say who it was so they left him in his own world.

Sammy was the first one to see Aroras, and questioned what they were doing here and why Shrishti didn't say anything about being invited because everyone here came because they were invited. The Luthras all turned to look at them, they saw Sarla, Shrishti, and Jhanki all dressed elegantly. They've never seen Aroras look this nice. And of course it was Kareena who commented on their dressing and wondered where they got such expensive clothes but little did they know that Preeta brought them with her from the United States. And what was even weird is that there table was at the fore front and came as special guests. That intrigued Luthras but Mr. Mahesh has already started connecting the dots and somehow he came to a conclusion that, Aroras coming as special guests could mean two things, either they are related to this woman or this woman is Preeta. He remembered how Sophia kept taking about Karan's son while looking at the little boy and the resemblance of both Preeta and Karan to the little boy. However he never aired his view to his family because they may it differently yet he also sees things differently and if it's indeed Preeta, he's proud of her but also intrigued about her. Looking at Karan in his own thoughts, he wonders if he's happy because he has seen her or something else. Preeta is the daughter in law he always wanted and even wished that they were two Preetas who would get married to his sons. At first he knew about Rishabh's feelings towards Preeta but not Karan so he was surprised when he got to know that both his sons were interested in the same girl. Luckily for him, Karan never found out about Rishsbh's feelings for Preeta because he didn't want his children to fight over the same girl. And as years have passed, Rishsbh has somehow gotten over her unlike Karan. He hopes his children get the happiness of marriage just like him and his wife Rahki.
