Boom

                           Time-skip 5 weeks.
Antonio's shoulder is still sore but refuses to sit at home so he's back at work. We moved into the house. We had a lot of extra help. There's 2 weeks to the wedding and I get more excited every day.

I got up and took a shower. Then put on my work clothes. I did my makeup. Then I went out and made breakfast. We ate.

Antonio: I'm going to head out for work.
Kendra: Be careful.

He put his hands on my hips and I put my hands around his neck.

Kendra: If I get a call saying your hurt I will lock you in this house.
Antonio: I bet you will.

He kissed my forehead.

Antonio: I love you baby.
Kendra: Love you to.

He kissed me. Then left. I put on my shoes and grabbed my bag. Then I went out and got into my car and drove to 51. I sat down and drank coffee while listening to the morning rant.

Otis: I still can't believe you did that Hermann.
Hermann: Oh get over it kid. It's not the first time.

Squad 3 police assist.

We went out and geared up. We got into the squad. We arrived at the location and got out. I realized that it was the team.

Severide: Looks like a door bust. Kendra grab the stuff.

I nodded. I got out. My door was facing the street so they couldn't see me. I grabbed the stuff. For some reason it felt really heavy. I carried it over.

Hank: We need the door open.

Severide nodded.

Severide: Capp wire search.

Capp grabbed his metal detector as I walked down the steps over to the pathway at the side of the house. Antonio had his gun pointed to a window.

Antonio: Hey.
Kendra: Cam you put that down?

He lowered his gun. I jumped up grabbing the siding and pulled myself up. Inside I saw propane tanks and gas tanks and sparks from the outside. I put my hand on my radio.

Kendra: Stop cut it

The noise quit.

Severide: What's wrong?
Kendra: There's a bomb connected to the whole house. One wrong step we're all dead. I can make entry from the side.
Severide: Do not enter.
Tony: Bomb squads on the way.

I looked at the timer. 2 minutes.

Kendra: Clear everyone to the street.
Severide: Why?
Kendra: Now Kelly this isn't a question. There's two minutes on that timer and someone's gotta stop it.

I put my hand back on the side.

Antonio: I'm not leaving.
Kendra: Yes you are.

Severide came around the side.

Severide: Antonio. Let's go.
Antonio: What? No way.
Severide: She's trained in this and done it before.

I opened the window and climbed in slowly. I went over to the activator and dismantled it with fifteen seconds left. I heard a door slam. It was really loud.

Severide: Kendra report.

Erins POV

We all went to the street. Antonio came over with Severide soon we were all on the street. Then a loud boom.

Severide: Kendra report.

Kendras POV

I walked slowly over to where I could see down the hallway. I saw a man. I put my hand on my radio.

Severide: Kendra report.
Kendra: Bomb dismantled. There someone in here.
Severide: The teams coming in now open that door.

I opened the door. They came in and I went out.

Severide: You good?
Kendra: Yeah.

We heard gunshots. We got behind the truck. They all came out. A ambo came and took the guy away.

Squad three can you respond to a house fire?

Severide: Yeah. Headed that way now.

We got in the truck and left. We arrived at the house. I put on my coat and grabbed my air tank just as 81, Chief, and the team showed up.

Chief: Severide you and Kendra that's the only two.
Severide: You got it Chief.

We put on our masks and went in.

Severide we need to clear the top floor first.
Kendra: Alright.

We went slowly up the stairs. We cleared the first three rooms. I went into the last one. There was no fire in this room. There was a kid. I went over and picked him up.

?: My mommy!
Kendra: She's outside.

He held onto my as I put him in my jacket. We went out.

Kendra: Severide. I got a kid.
Severide: Alight let's get out of here.

We went down the stairs we stepped out the front door then boom. We both flew. I landed on my side. My arm was pinned behind me. I took off my mask just as Gabby came she took the kid.

Erins POV

They came out then boom. The whole house went up in flames and sent them both flying. Kendra landed on her side. Gabby ran over and picked up a kid. Severide got up.

Kendras POV

I got my arm out from behind me. Severide came over.

Severide: You ok?

I nodded. He helped me up. My hand was good it wasn't hurt. I went and took off my tank. Then the ambo drove away with the kid and the mom. Soon we went back to 51. I went and showered and put on new clothes. Then I went and had dinner with everyone then went to my cot and went to sleep
