One year later.
I woke up and got in the shower. Then I put on my work clothes and did my makeup. I went out and got breakfast ready for the kids then went up and packed my bag. I got my keys and left for work. I walked into the firehouse and put my stuff away. I went to morning meeting.

We sat down and had breakfast. After we put our dishes up.

He handed me the guitar and I sat down.

I noticed Kendra take a turn. I went and stood against the wall. Then she started singing. It was beautiful.

Kathy: Can you play Blue?

I handed the guitar back to John.

John: You are a beautiful singer.
Kendra: Thank you. I have to go. Thank you for letting me sing for you.
Kathy: Thank you for singing for us.

I smiled and waved as I walked out. I stopped when I saw Kelly and Cruz.

Kendra: You tell no one.

We went out to the squad.
