"After the argue we started talking about everything, about our plans for future. I moved in and everything was going in great turn for both of us, Luke got locked up from what we knew and because I was his right-hand they gave me his stand."

"How that felt, at that moment?" he tills his head to side, looking at her with sympathy.

"Like I could move mountains, I talked with all women who experienced the same what I did. I created an organization in short time for molested and abused women, creating support groups and for each one got their own psychologists virtually for free." she says absorbed about this topic.

Man smiles at her "Wow that's truly amazing, I'm happy someone like you can help others. Those women need that."

She smiles at him " You sound exactly like Michael right now, he said the same thing.."

*Month later, after an argue*

"Honey, I'm so proud of you! Those women need someone like you!" Michael exclaimed as he lifted Lisa into the air and kissed her. Her laughter filled the room. "I love you so much!" he shouted as he carried her towards the bedroom. They fell onto the bed, their playful kissing quickly escalating into a passionate make-out session.

Their passionate moment was interrupted by the doorbell, and Michael let out a frustrated groan. "Ugh, not again," he mumbled, reluctantly pulling away from Lisa.

"Michael, put me down! Right now!" Lisa laughed as she playfully struggled to free herself from his shoulder.

Michael chuckled mischievously. "Hmm, no," he said, opening the door with Lisa still draped over his shoulder. "Oh, Janet and Daniel! How are you guys doing? Come in, come in!"

Janet exchanged a glance with Lisa, who was holding on to Michael's back and said, "I swear, when you put me down—"

Michael giggled. "Who said I will?" He carried Lisa into the bedroom.

Daniel looked at them with amusement in his eyes and leaned in to whisper something to Janet, causing them both to burst into laughter. They sat down on the couch and placed a crate of beer on the table.

Daniel was Michael's best friend and had known him for years. They worked together in Michael's company, and Daniel had been there since the beginning. He was tall with brown eyes and dark hair, and he remained single for some unknown reason, despite being quite attractive.

Michael and Lisa soon returned from the bedroom, wearing slightly mysterious smiles. Michael settled into an armchair, and Lisa sat on his lap, her arm wrapped around his neck.

Janet handed them beers and congratulated Lisa on her achievements. "Congratulations! We are all happy for you, Lisa," Janet said with a warm smile.

Daniel couldn't help but glance at Lisa, his eyes reflecting an unusual interest. Janet noticed but brushed it off, assuming he was simply being friendly and accepting of his friend's relationship. They all enjoyed the food they had ordered, and when Janet sensed that both Michael and Lisa wanted some alone time, she subtly asked Daniel to take her home.

Lisa cleans after the meeting while Michael walks behind her kissing her neck "Leave it, we going to clean tomorrow."

She looks at him " Tomorrow? Tomorrow, we both go to work again." she keeps cleaning. He picks her up and walks away with her, walking to bathroom "Noooo, babe I'm tired for playing, with you." Michael laughs of what she said.

When he walks to the bathroom with her, there is a tub with a steaming water and rose petals floating on the surface. The visible smell of vanilla oil and candles are all over the place, giving a warm light in the dark room.

She gasps on what she sees and looks at Michael and kisses him deeply pushing him at the wall giving him hands under his shirt, while he takes off her clothing, kissing her body with love and passion.

As they end in the bathtub, their bodies intertwined as their passion grows, Michael suddenly stops, locking eyes with Lisa with utmost seriousness.

"Marry me," he said, his voice filled with sincerity and love.

At that moment, Lisa's world seemed to pause as she looked into his eyes. The room around them faded into the background, and her heart quickened with a mixture of excitement and nervous anticipation. She could feel the warmth of his hand on her cheek, his thumb gently caressing her skin, and she leaned in, closing the distance between them.

Their lips met in a soft, tender kiss that sent shivers down her spine. It was a kiss filled with unspoken emotions, a silent affirmation of their feelings for each other. As their lips parted, they stayed close, their foreheads touching, breathing in each other's warmth.

Lisa's voice, barely above a whisper, broke the spell. "Okay," she said, a sweet smile playing on her lips. Her heart still raced, but she felt an overwhelming sense of contentment and a newfound connection that seemed to grow stronger with each passing moment. It was a word that held promises, and she was ready to embark on this new chapter of her life with him by his side.

A smile broke out on Michael's face, and he scooped Lisa into his arms, carrying her to the bedroom.

Lisa sat there in the cold, sterile room, the weight of Dr. Jones's words sinking in like an anchor in her heart. The fluorescent lights overhead seemed too harsh, and the sterile smell of the hospital was suffocating. She clutched the glass of cold water in her trembling hands, the condensation seeping through her fingers.

Dr. Jones, a compassionate and experienced physician, took a deep breath before continuing. "I wish I had better news, Mrs. Jackson, but your husband's condition has deteriorated significantly. We've done everything we can, but it seems his body is not responding to the treatments as we had hoped. Michael is in a very fragile state, and it's difficult to say how much time he has left."

Tears welled up in Lisa's eyes, and she felt a lump forming in her throat. The weight of the situation pressed down on her, and she couldn't help but think about the two-month coma prognosis that had been set initially. It was supposed to be temporary, something he would wake up from, something they would get through together.

"I... I can't believe this," Lisa stammered, her voice barely audible. "Is there anything else we can try? Any other treatments, second opinions?"

Dr. Jones nodded sympathetically. "We've consulted with other specialists, and we've tried every treatment option available to us. At this point, all we can do is provide the best care and support for Michael, and hope for a miracle. I know this is incredibly hard for you, but I want to be honest with you about the situation."

As the reality of her husband's condition sank in, Lisa felt a mixture of emotions—desperation, fear, anger, and a profound sense of helplessness. She wiped away her tears with the back of her hand, willing herself to stay strong for Michael.

Dr. Jones continued to explain the current state of Michael's health, discussing the various complications that had arisen in the past weeks. Lisa listened intently, absorbing every detail, even though it was painful to hear. She knew she had to be informed to make the best decisions for her husband, as grim as those decisions might be.

After the lengthy discussion, Dr. Jones expressed his condolences and offered any support the hospital could provide during this hard time. Lisa thanked him for his honesty and the care he had provided to Michael.

Leaving the doctor's office, Lisa felt an overwhelming sense of grief and uncertainty. She leaned against the hallway wall, collecting her thoughts, feeling the wedding ring on her finger slipping further due to the weight she had lost in these distressing weeks. She knew that her strength and resilience would be tested like never before as she faced the agonizing reality of her husband's uncertain fate.
