Michael's hopeful question lingered in the air. Lisa, overwhelmed by her emotions, looked at him, her eyes reflecting a mix of frustration, disappointment, and the vulnerability she felt.

"I should ask you that if you still believe me when I tell you those words. But if you went so low, I don't think so, maybe it's because you didn't get your memory back, or I'm not good enough for you," she replied, her voice tinged with sadness and uncertainty.

The room fell into an awkward silence as Michael contemplated his response. "It's not like you're not good enough. I also remember the argument we had in the car. Your words hurt me too," he admitted, showing his own vulnerability.

Lisa gazed at him, shaking her head in understanding. "I know that my words hurt you, and I think if you remember that, we should talk about it too. I was thinking about it at the hospital many times, thinking about what I said and what I would tell you if you woke up. But when your life was in question, I just wanted to see you alive. I know my mother just wants to make me be under her control, but after what you said, I just wanted to vanish and never come back. That's why I have documents to take over my family's business. I also know it's hypocritical of me to do that, so I decided to wait for you to come and talk with me, but I was losing hope every day." Her voice wavered as she spoke her truth.

Michael had more questions, uncertainty about their future. "What are we going to do now about it?" he asked.

She shrugged in response, mirroring his uncertainty. "I don't know."

He couldn't help but ask, what's been haunting him. "What about Daniel? Is it true that he kissed you?"

Lisa nodded. "Yeah, like I said before. I don't know why you don't believe me at this point."

"It's not like I don't believe you. I just think about whether I should hit him in the face or not," he said with a hint of frustration in his voice. "Just because I was in the hospital doesn't mean he can go to my wife and make a move."

Michael looked at her earnestly. "Please, come back home. I really love you, and I know you love me. I think we both just got lost in all of this."

Lisa, considering his words, looked at him with a moment of contemplation. "I would want that, but just tell me, what are you going to do about Daniel?"

He furrowed his brows, getting above her as he made her fall back onto the couch, eliciting giggles from her. "Men things," he said playfully, kissing her slowly and pulling her shirt up, gazing at her belly. "How far along are you?"

Lisa chuckled and looked impressed. "My doctor told me it's been around 6-7 weeks. I didn't know I was pregnant because nausea starts between the sixth and eighth week of the first trimester," she explained.

Michael continued to show his affection by kissing her belly and stealing her attention. Lisa struggled to continue speaking. "Uh oh, I forget what I wanted to say because of you."

He looked at her with a mischievous glint in his eye. "Me? What did I do?"

She couldn't help but surrender to his charm. "I love you," she whispered, kissing him as he smiled within the embrace.

"I love you more, very much," he replied, his words filled with sincerity and love.

As their affectionate moment continued, Lisa's phone rang, interrupting their intimacy. Michael picked it up and answered the call. A look of frustration appeared on his face as he spoke to the person on the other end.

"Hello? Yeah, she's here. But why are you calling my wife, Daniel? Oh, you thought we argued. Well, you and I are going to talk tomorrow at work," he said with evident irritation before slamming the handset back onto the phone.

Seeing his frustration, Lisa slowly stood up and hugged him from behind, seeking to comfort him. He turned around and held her tightly, his feelings of anger and frustration dissipating in her embrace.

Michael eventually decided to make the call about Daniel. Lisa observed him as he made a series of phone calls, her exhaustion from the emotional turmoil of the day finally catching up with her. Her eyelids grew heavy, and she fell asleep on the couch.

In the middle of the night, Michael woke up and saw her sleeping. He gently carried her to the bedroom, laid her down, and covered her with the blanket. Lisa awoke briefly, sitting up.

"You can go back to sleep," he whispered, showing concern for her.

She shook her head, creating some space for him to lie beside her. Michael sighed, realizing he wouldn't fall asleep easily. He glanced at Lisa, who raised an eyebrow and patted the spot beside her. "Come in, please," she urged.

He obliged, joining her on the bed and hugging her tightly. Michael kissed her on the head, then on her belly, their bond growing stronger in the stillness of the night.

He began to speak, sharing his thoughts about their future. "We should find a family house, somewhere close to work but still with enough peace and quiet for our child."

Lisa smiled but said nothing, closing her eyes and trying to drift off to sleep.

"I will take care of everything," Michael continued, his voice filled with tenderness as he thought about their future.

They lay in each other's arms, savoring the quiet moments, until eventually, he found the peace and rest they both needed.

Their love had endured trials, but their shared journey was far from over.
