Lisa walked out of the doctor's office with a dazed expression on her face. The weight of the doctor's words pressed down on her, and she needed a moment to gather herself. She stepped outside the hospital, taking in a few deep breaths of fresh air to clear her mind, though the news seemed to hang heavy around her like a dark cloud. Eventually, she made her way back inside the building, her eyes scanning the cafeteria for William, who was sitting at his usual table.

William noticed Lisa's arrival and the distress etched across her face. He hurried over to her with a concerned look in his eyes. "Lisa? What did the doctor say?" he asked, guiding her to sit in a chair.

Lisa couldn't hold back her emotions any longer. Tears welled up in her eyes, and her voice trembled as she struggled to speak. "H-he is... d-dying," she managed to say, her hands covering her face as the weight of the news crushed her.

William's heart sank at the words, and he immediately wrapped his arms around Lisa, offering a comforting embrace. "Shh... calm down, please," he murmured soothingly, gently rocking her back and forth. The hospital cafeteria seemed to fade into the background as he focused on providing support for his friend.

The evening in Paris was filled with romance and laughter as Lisa and Michael enjoyed their honeymoon. The Eiffel Tower stood tall and majestic in the background, its sparkling lights adding to the magic of the moment. They lay on a blanket, gazing at the starry night sky.

Michael's lips brushed against Lisa's cheek, and she turned her head to look at him with a smile. "Hmmm, what's on your mind, my lover boy?" she asked playfully.

He chuckled and sat up, his eyes never leaving hers. He growled playfully as he lay on her chest and embraced her tightly. "I love you," he mumbled, his voice filled with sincerity and affection.

Lisa's heart swelled with love as she responded, "I love you too." She kissed him on the forehead, and his eyes seemed to shine with adoration.

However, as he continued to gaze at her, she couldn't help but notice the intensity of his stare. Lisa began to feel a bit self-conscious and playfully teased him, "Why are you looking at me like that? Don't tell me you want to make babies here..."

Michael's eyes widened in surprise, but then a mischievous smirk crossed his face, causing Lisa to burst into laughter. "I don't understand why you're laughing," he said with a half-serious tone. "The view would be nice..."

Lisa couldn't contain her laughter as she imagined the scenario. "For you or for people passing by?"

Michael thought for a moment. "Both, but most of all for me," he replied with a wink, making Lisa raise an eyebrow and roll her eyes.

"Well, you're the one who's a scared chicken, so you probably wouldn't be capable," he challenged.

Lisa looked at him with a playful glint in her eye. "Are you challenging me?"

Michael couldn't help but giggle. "Nooo, of course not..." he began to say, but before he could finish his sentence, Lisa leaned in and kissed him passionately, making him tumble backward onto their blanket, their love, and laughter filling the Parisian night.

Michael and Lisa returned to their apartment after their honeymoon, their blissful mood slightly dampened by the unexpected presence of Janet and her cat. Michael couldn't hide his frustration and immediately addressed Janet.

"What, Janet! I told you, no cats or dogs in my house when we're not home!" he scolded her.

Lisa, on the other hand, was more sympathetic to the feline visitor. She took the cat in her arms and sat on the couch, showering the pet with affection. Janet looked at Lisa and smiled, ignoring Michael's exasperation.

"Why can't you act like her?" Michael grumbled. "Anyway, how was your honeymoon? Am I going to be an aunt or not?"

Lisa coughed and looked at Janet in confusion, while Michael raised an eyebrow, not sure what Janet was alluding to.

"Janet, what—" Lisa began, but before she could finish her sentence, she made a weird face, stood up, and let the cat go, which made Michael laugh.

Janet rolled her eyes and collected her bag and her cat, preparing to leave. "I'll still call you, Lisa, to get more details," she said, hugging Lisa and giving her a kiss on the cheek. Then she whispered something in Michael's ear, which elicited a laugh from him before she left them alone.

As they stood in their apartment, Michael noticed the presence of cat hair on the couch and shook his head. "I told her no animals at the house, ugh."

Lisa chuckled and approached him, hugging him from behind. "I thought you liked animals," she said, gently massaging his shoulders.

Michael smiled and looked up at her. "I do, but I told her no, and like always, she doesn't listen."

Lisa rolled her eyes and then went on his lap, giving him a sweet kiss. "At least she didn't bring some guy here."

Michael's expression shifted from curiosity to suspicion. "Don't tell me you think she did," he said, his eyebrows raised.

Lisa giggled. "Are you jealous?"

Michael made a disgusted face. "No. I'm more disgusted at the thought that she could have done something with him in our bed. I'm going to change the sheets," he said, making Lisa laugh and shake her head.

As Lisa picked up the phone , she was immediately bombarded with Priscilla's loud and irritated voice. "Lisa! What did you do?!"

Priscilla shouted, causing Lisa to move the phone away from her ear as she rubbed her temple, getting a headache from the yelling.

"Umm, can you explain why you're yelling?" Lisa asked calmly as she fiddled with the phone cord.

Priscilla took a deep breath. "So, Michael's friend just told me that you guys got married!"

Lisa didn't respond immediately, which only seemed to further irritate her mother.

"Lisa, you didn't!" Priscilla yelled.

"Ye-ah, I di-d," Lisa stammered.

Priscilla sighed, her frustration evident in her voice. "You are in big trouble right now!" With that, she ended the call, leaving Lisa in a state of shock, knowing well her mother won't leave it on the call.

Lisa stared at the phone, her mind racing with a mix of emotions. The shock of Priscilla's reaction gave her a big amount of anxiety. She couldn't help but find the whole situation somewhat worrisome.

Michael, who had been watching her reaction with concern, reached out to hold her hand. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice filled with genuine concern.

Lisa bit her lower lip and nodded slowly. "I'm feeling uneasy about how my mother will react and what she might say when we see her again," Lisa confided, her voice tinged with worry, as she held onto Michael's hand.

As the evening continued, the couple shared stories and memories from their honeymoon, but Lisa's anxiety lingered in the back of her mind. The unexpected phone call from Priscilla had cast a shadow over the otherwise joyous day, and she couldn't shake off the feeling of anxiety over it.
