Chapter 6: Don't try to make this about someone else

"Oi Ron!" Fred called after another ginger boy I figured was his younger brother "Have you seen Seamus?" he asked his brother

"He will not help with your firework planing" Ron said rolling his eyes and stepping in front of a portrait

"I am asking for someone!" he told Ron, clearly sounding annoyed by his brother "Can you get him please?"

"Fine" Ron muttered something, the portrait swung open and he disappeared behind it

"Thank you for asking" I told Fred "But where are the others?" I asked him since I realised that they didn't followed us upstairs to the tower

"They are are getting some food from the kitchen" he explained

"Do you have access to the kitchen in Hogwarts?" I asked him not believing that they can actually just get stuff from the kitchen

"Not officially" he explained "But during one detention with Filch, the Caretaker, we found a way into the kitchen and since then we are the people that supply everyone. For example usually when we win a Quidditch match George and I go and get some stuff from the kitchen to celebrate in the common room"

"That is so cool I wish we would have what have access to the kitchen at Beauxbaton" I complained

But then a boy appeared in front of the portrait we were standing in front of.

"Fred, Your brother told me that you wanted to see me " The boy told Fred confused "I already told you that I'm not going you to help you with your firework ideas"

" I didn't ask for you about that I got that while ago actually" Fred told the boy "Look Seamus I was talking to Y/N here" he looked at me "And she told me that she knew you so yeah" he finished looking rather uncomfortable

"I don't know if you remember-" I spoke but was suddenly wrapped into a tight hug

"Merlin's Beard" Seamus said "I haven't seen you in like 8 years but you still look the same" he laughed

"Well you haven't grown ever since then have you?" I joked

"Not funny" but he chuckled "We should catch up" he suggested

"Oh ehm I am actually here with Fred and his friends" I confessed

"You will do it another time you can catch up with Seamus" Fred said "we can get food any day"

"Thanks Fred! I will make it up to you!" I promised him

"No worries" he said "I will leave you two alone" he told us before leaving us alone

Fred's POV

I walked to the Quidditch pitch where my friends told me to meet them. I saw that George was running up to me.

"Lost Y/N?" he asked

"NO! I left her with Seamus so that they could catch up" I told him but I didn't have the best feeling about it

"You're not jealous are you?" George suddenly asked me

"Why would I be jealous?"

"Come on Freddie it is obvious! You like her"

"I do not" I defended myself but I felt that I couldn't even believe myself

"You told me that she was the girl from the World Cup and I saw how you looked at her in the Three Broomstick" he told me

"Well maybe" I confessed "But I saw the way you look at Katie"

"Don't try to make this about someone else" he laughed

"But I am right aren't I" I chuckled

"You are! But I don't think that she actually feels the same and I don't want to destroy our friend group" he told me and his shoulders sunk with every word he said

"Don't think about it too much" I told him "I have the weird feeling she likes you too" I encouraged him before we entered the field

YOUR POV

"My mum lost your address but our old owl remembered where you lived" Seamus explained "But when she passed away my mum wasn't able to contact you anymore"

"And you moved" I added "That is why we weren't able to contact you"

"As soon as my mum found out that students from Beauxbaton were joining us, she immediately told me to look for you but I never found you" he chuckled

"Not even my brother?" I asked

"He is here as well?" Seamus asked me in disbelief

"Yeah! We don't get along that good since he beliefs that I try to steal his spotlight so I haven't heard from him in a while" I told him annoyed when I remembered how pissed Antoine was at the day we left

"Why would he think that?" Seamus asked confused

"Because I am not 17 yet so I wasn't able to enter for the tournament and he is! To be honest I am only here because everyone thought that Fleur would get chosen anyways and I am here to support her" I explained "And Antoine thinks that it is unnecessary!"

"I am so happy sometimes that I don't have any siblings. But what is about your brother Pierre?" Seamus asked "He already graduated didn't he?"

"He works for Gringotts" I started telling him about my oldest brother "He wanted to work at the ministry but then he got a job offer at Gringotts he took it. Pierre works in Egypt at the moment I think!I haven't heard from him in a while but he sends us letters regularly"

"You always seemed to get along with your brothers"

" I do miss Pierre but since Antoine turned 12 he was always jealous of me for no reason so we ignore each other most of the time it's it's kind of sad if you think about it" I confessed

"So you're already met Fred?" Seamus change the topic see how uncomfortable it was for me to talk about it

" I did yeah! I meant all members of what they are called "Quidditch group". I think they are really nice to hangout with" I told him "Wait no! I actually haven't met this one girl called Angelina"

"Angelina is really nice" Seamus said before someone called him "We should hangout more often!"

"We definitely should and don't forget to write your mum" I laughed "See you around!"

"Thanks for reminding me and see you!" he said before making his way

I decided to go back to my dorm and not join the others since some time since we were supposed to meet and I didn't know the way anyway...
