Chapter 34: Brackium Emendo

"So George let you go for 2 weeks?" I asked him at dinner

"Well not exactly! You see we have an assistant, called Verity, and she is taking over the shop for a few days because George wanted to see Katie and pick up everyone from Kings Cross and when I will return he will take 2 weeks off" he explained

"I find it inspiring that you and your twin build everything up by yourself" mum said impressed "and that you managed everything with school too"

"Well I-" Fred started but I kicked him slightly "Yeah it was a bit stressful"

"Mum, do you need any help?" I asked her as I brought my plate into the kitchen

"No, I 'm fine! You can go upstairs with Fred" she smiled "He seemed like a really great guy" she added

"So this is my room" I told Fred as I opened my door

"This is exactly how I imagined it" Fred smirked as he sat down on my bed

"What is that supposed to mean?" I raised an eyebrow

"I don't know it is just how I imagined your room to look like" he smiled

"Okay?" I said

"Well now that you saw my room, I should show you the room you will stay in" I told him

"Ehm... I thought well you know I would stay in your room too" Fred said looking confused and embarrassed

"I was only joking" I laughed

"You little git" Fred smiled "I actually fell for it"

"I guess this is what you get when you are a jokester and start dating someone" I chuckled "Guess you are a bad influence"

"Oh really why would it be a bad influence?"

"Technically you dropped out of the school, pulled probably one of the biggest pranks in the history to open a joke shop with the money you got from students, because you sold them candy to skip class"

"You make it sound worse than it is" Fred smiled

"Do I now?" I laughed " I am only joking! But maybe you shouldn't tell my mum that you dropped out! I don't think that it would have a left a good impression"

"I got that"

"Did you? Even without graduating?" I laughed

"I hate you" Fred threw a pillow right at my face

"I love you too Freddie" I laughed

Fred and I spent the first day at home just catching up and talking since it was raining the whole time. He told me that their business was booming and that they had enough money at the end to spoil themselves with dracon skin jackets.

He kept that me things like "you need to see the shop"; "you don't believe how amazing everything turned out", "I need to show you around as soon as you visit"

I even had to promise him that would be visiting him this summer to see his "amazing" shop, as he called it.

It was cute to see Fred in his element talking about new products and ideas for hours

As soon as the weather got better a few days after, I started to show him around a bit. I showed some spots I visited as a kid, just like Seamus did when Dean and I visited him.

Fred seemed quite impressed by the landscapes.

It was just another day as Fred and I were walking through the streets. I wanted to show him my favourite spot to be alone. I used to go there when I wanted to be alone and just get lost in my imagination.
