The force from the explosion separated the two of us.
I was thrown onto the hard stone floor and pain filled my whole bodybut as I opened my eyes I looked for Fred.
He was lying a few meters from me and even though my body hurt I rushed over to.
His eyes were closed and didn't move an inch.
"FRED! FRED!" someone screamed and appeared next to me. It was Percy.
"Is he alright?" he looked at his brother.
"I-I don't know. He's not moving" I said as I felt tears falling down my face. What if I was too late? Maybe I didn't save him in time! I should have been there earlier!
Regret was rushing over while Percy kneeled down next to Fred.
I saw Harry, Ron and Hermione standing behind me, looking down at Fred.
"He has a pulse" Percy sighed relieved "Probably just unconscious"
New tears were forming themselves but this time they were happy tears. I didn't know if Fred would have actually died if I wouldn't have saved him but all that matter was that he was still alive.
"You should get him out of here" Hermione told us "Get help somewhere".
"Yes" Percy said, who seemed to be overwhelmed.
"We have to get going" Ron looked at Percy "I hope he wakes up soon" he smiled weakly. and they left, following a bunch of flowers
Percy let out a bull-like roar: "ROOKWOOD!" and sprinted off in the direction of a tall man, who was pursuing a couple of students "YOU NEARLY KILLED MY BROTHER"
"Percy I need your h-" I broke off because Percy was running away from me more and more, to follow the Death Eater.
I sat down next to Fred onto the cold stone floor, my wand still clutched in my hand ready to defend myself
I knew that I didn't have a chance to carry Fred somewhere safe by myself
"Stupefy" I stunned a dark figure coming our way and he fell to the ground. I nearly missed them because I wasn't concentrating on my target but still hit them.
"That was close" someone said behind me and as I turned around I saw Angelina.
"What happened to Fred?" she asked me, looking at him
"Flew back after an explosion. Seems to have a pulse though" I explained fast
"You need to get him out of here" she told me
"I know but I don't think that I'll be able to get him somewhere alone" I explained
"I'll see if I can find Wood! He was just next to me a second ago" she told me before she disappeared into the darkness again.
"What happened to Weasley?" I heard a voice coming closer
"Y/N told me that it was an explosion" Angelina told him as she appeared again, next to her Oliver Wood
"Oh Fred doesn't look too good" Oliver kneeled down next to me "I'll take him to the Great Hall! I think he will be the safest there" he said as he lifted Fred.
Angelina and I went to help him but Oliver declined "Nah I got this although he should get into shape again" he chuckled
We followed him silently into the Great Hall where he set Fred down on a bench that was standing on the side.
"There you go" Oliver smiled "I hope he wakes up soon! I will get back outside now, helping others" he told us before he left the hall again.
"Are you alright for now?" Angelina asked, holding onto my shoulder.
