"Y/N you coming?" my mum called from downstairs.
"Yeah coming!" I closed my trunk and made my way downstairs where my mum and brother were already waiting
"Do you have everything?" my mum asked
"I am not in my first year anymore! I am sixteen" I told her
"I know but this will be such a special year for the two of us" she reminded us "You will experience Hogwarts" she told us excited
"You told us like a hundred times how great your years at Hogwarts were" Antoine said annoyed
"Be thankful Antoine! Your sister can be especially happy. She wouldn't attend if Fleur wouldn't be her best friend"
"I don't get why everyone thinks that she will be chosen. I mean it could be someone else! Also, Y/N is a year younger than Fleur and Fleur will graduate after this year so why is Y/N even coming? She can't enter anyways!" my brother complained
"I am not going to steal your spotlight Antoine!"
"Be nice to each other" my mother hissed at us "Antoine can you be happy for your sister? It was not easy for her! She had to write to Madame Maxine a few times after Fleur asked Madame Maxime?"
"But why does Fleur even need her? She is the most popular girl"
"Antoine, stop now! You know the fakeness of people and Y/N is one of her only true friends and Fleur's sister is still young to really be there for her! All of your friends will be attending Hogwarts this year" my mum hissed at my brother
"Whatever" Antoine rolled his eyes before stepping outside
"Thanks Mum!"
"No worries! He is just jealous! Try to ignore him alright?" she looked at me
"I will try" I said annoyed
"And please look out for this Finnigan boy alright? I think his first name is Seamus. You know his mum and I used to attend Hogwarts"
"And we visited them a few times when were younger but then they moved and you lost touch" I repeated the story she told us before
"Thank you" my mum hugged me "Now go on or you will be late"
Fred's POV
"Did you see the carriage outside?" Lee sat down across Georgie and I
"Yeah! I am wondering what it's supposed to mean" my twin said
"I hope that we will find out soon" Lee said excited
"Well now that we're all settled in and sorted, I'd like to make an announcement" Dumbledore started "This castle will not only be your home this year but home to some very special guests as well. You see, Hogwarts has been chosen to host a legendary event: The TriWizard Tournament." George and I looked at each other excited
"The Tournament brings together three schools for a series of magical contests. From each school a single student is selected to compete. Now let me be clear. If chosen, you stand alone. And trust me when I say, these contests are not for the faint-hearted. But more about that later! Please welcome the lovely students of Beauxbaton academy of magic and their headmistress Madame Maxime"
The door of the Great Hall opened and a few girls in light blue uniforms came kinda dancing into the Hall.
First, I thought that there were only girls but I saw a few boys behind them.
But then suddenly I saw a familiar girl.
Could it really be the girl I saw at the World Cup?
I mean I think she said something in French so it would make sense
A loud cheer broke out which interrupt my thoughts when Dumbledore welcomed Madame Maxime before silencing the Hall again
"And now our friends from the north! Please welcome the proud students of Durmstrang and their highmaster Igor Karkaroff"
I saw a group of boys stepping into the Hall with a girl in between
"Is that?" someone asked
"Viktor Krum?" another one said
And it was true! The best seeker in the world was at Hogwarts!
We all enjoyed the feast before Dumbledore started to tell us about the tournament and how there would be 3 tasks
"Wicked!" Georgie and I said in union
Barty Crouch wanted to say something before Alastor Moody saved us from the ceiling acting weirdly.
Crouch announced that only students of the age of 17 were allowed to enter the tournament
"THAT'S RUBBISH! BOO!" I shouted as loud as I could and my twin joined me.
Are they serious? We are going to be 17 in April! That is unfair! Couldn't they make it a rule to be in 6th year?
