"You betrayed me!" Tommy spat, staring down his ex best friend. It was only the second or third time he'd seen Tubbo since his exile and working with Techno, and he'd let his emotions get the best of him. Tommy was hurt, and seeing Tubbo again brought back up all his repressed emotions about him. Dream had brought everyone to the now blown-up Community House, blaming the destruction on Tommy. Everyone was watching from the sides and even from above; the attention was all on them.
"I didn't! I was doing what was best for L'Manburg as the president!" Tubbo shouted back, feeling slightly anxious with everyone watching him.
"How was that what was best?! Do you even know what I went through while I was gone? Don't you know what Dream did to me?" Tommy asked, his voice almost breaking.
Tubbo shook his head. "No.. I..."
"Of course you don't, you didn't even visit me! You're a shit friend, you know that?" Tommy said, stepping closer to Tubbo. He felt the need to defend himself as Tommy was wearing a lot of armour, and was yielding a shield in one hand, an axe in the other. Tubbo drew his sword, feeling a bit pathetic because he wasn't really prepared for this. He didn't know he'd potentially have to actually fight his best friend.
"I.. Tommy I did visit!" Tubbo replied. Suddenly he felt afraid of Tommy, which was probably the last emotion he ever expected to feel because of him. It was sad, really, the blind rage in the blonde boy's eyes.
"Tommy, maybe we should get out of here." Techno said behind him, but Tommy just ignored him.
"That's bullshit!"
"I did! And how am I the traitor when you sided with the anarchist of this whole server anyway!" Tubbo said, motioning to Techno.
Tension between the two boys was heavy, their emotions were everywhere. They were just two broken boys that had only known war for their entire lives, even though they were only 16. None of this should've happened, and yet here they were. Things didn't look to be going well, and everyone knew that someone was bound to get hurt.
"He was the only one there for me!" Tommy swung his axe, surprising Tubbo as he quickly moved out of the way.
"What the hell, Tommy!" he said in shock. He didn't want to fight Tommy, if anything he just wanted him back as his friend. Things weren't simple like that though, and Tubbo knew this.
"What do you want me to say! You keep- you keep messing up! That's why you had to go, and look at you now! You blew this place up, what's- what's wrong with you?" Tubbo said, not realizing the extent of his words. Tommy was taken aback, remembering all the abusive people in his life who had said that exact thing to him; 'what's wrong with you?'.
"Wh..." Tommy paused. "How... how dare you!" Tommy swung his axe again and again, each time almost barely missing Tubbo as he dodged to get out of its path. Tommy didn't think he really wanted to necessarily hurt Tubbo, he just wanted to make him stop him from feeling the way he did, somehow. Tommy was angry, and exhausted, and just wished this all would end.
"This wasn't me! For once in your god damn life, just trust me!" Tommy yelled.
"I- I did trust you Tommy!" Tubbo said, his sword clashing with Tommy's axe. He swung back at Tommy again, a sharp scratching sound filling the air as it hit his armor.
"Tubbo, the discs! Everything I do is for the discs, it's- it's for us!" Tommy said. The two swung at eachother over and over, still arguing.
"The discs dont matter Tommy, I told you that! You never listen to me!" Tubbo exclaimed.
"THE DISCS WERE WORTH MORE THAN YOU EVER WERE!" Tommy screamed. Gasps from everyone around them were heard, as Tubbo stopped in utter shock at Tommy's words. It all happened in a matter of seconds; Tommy's eyes were closed shut as he quickly swung a final time, cutting a long, bloody line through the skin on Tubbo's chest right through his white undershirt.
Tubbo yelled out in pain, falling to the floor. He couldn't comprehend what was happening, as the world around him spun and everyone yelled over eachother. He tried to breathe, but it was hard to because of how much pain he was in.
"WHAT DID YOU DO!" Ranboo shouted, pushing past the frozen Tommy. He couldn't believe what he had done as people ran to Tubbo's rescue.
"Tommy, we gotta go." Techno said, trying to shake Tommy's arm to get him to pay attention.
"What... I.. I can't.." Realization of his actions set in as Tommy stumbled back, dropping the axe to the floor.
"Tubbo? Tubbo, it will be okay." Ranboo stripped his jacket off, putting it over the bloody gash to try and stop the bleeding. Tubbo cried out in pain again, laying on his back. "What do we do? What do we do?!" Ranboo panicked to the people around him; Niki, Punz, Eret, Sam, and many others who were trying to help.
"I- I.. I can't- it.. hurts.." Tubbo cried through quick, short breaths. He felt lightheaded as he lost blood, and slowly but surely, fatigue was taking over him completely.
Ranboo watched as Tubbo's eyes darted around, looking panicked. Soon they were falling shut, despite many voices telling him to stay awake.
     "Tubbo?! Tubbo!"
He tried to keep his eyes open but it was no use, he was in too much pain and his brain was shutting down in response. He blinked a final time, his eyes falling shut, as he let darkness consume him completely.

Tubbo slowly blinked opened his eyes feeling sore, tired and confused. He knew he was laying in a bed, and shivered as the cold air of the place he was in licked the bare skin of his top half. His shirt was gone, and instead replaced with bandages that covered his torso, down to his stomach.
He groaned, feeling a dull ache in the back of his head as he tried to remember what had happened. He tried to sit up, but a voice spoke before he could move any further, "Oh- Tubbo, thank god you're okay! You should probably just lay down for now."
"Ranboo?" Tubbo asked, laying back down.
"How are you feeling? Looks like Sam fixed you up with bandages and a potion, we were all so worried for you.." Ramboo said. Tubbo looked around realizing he was at Sam's place, somewhere he hadn't been in ages.
"I'm.. I think I'm okay.." Tubbo said, suddenly remembering everything that happened; the fight with Tommy, the fear, being struck with his weapon, everything going black.. the words that Tommy had said. He looked to Ranboo, "Is- Is Tommy okay?" he asked without thinking.
"He's.. yeah, he's okay. Do you.. want to see him?" Ranboo asked softly.
"Does he.. does he want to see me?" Tubbo asked.
"Techno's been holding him back this whole time." Ranboo gave a small smile. "I'll get him." he said, standing up.
A minute later Tubbo felt a lot more awake as Tommy walked in with his armor now off, and looking incredibly distressed. "God... Tubbo..."
"Tommy?" he looked up at him, and the only thing Tubbo could think was god, he looks so broken.
Tommy took Tubbo's hands, holding them tightly but being careful as not to hurt his friend any more than he already did. "I- I'm so so so so sorry. For everything. You aren't the terrible friend, I am. You never deserved this-" Tommy cried shaking his head, tears slipping down his cheeks and falling onto the bed as he leaned over Tubbo.
"I- I'm okay! Don't cry, please, don't cry Toms..." Tubbo pleaded, knowing it would just bring him to tears aswell.
"I almost.. I almost killed you.." more hot tears fell as the realization set in, looking into Tubbo's eyes. "I.. I don't know what I would've done if you had died.." Tommy wished he could hug him once again, but he was too afraid of hurting him.
"Tommy.." Tubbo tried to reach up to wipe away Tommy's tears, but hissed in pain when he lifted his arm from moving the wrong way.
"No, it's- it's okay. Try to relax, I'm okay." Tommy reassured him, but Tubbo wasn't convinced. He felt bad for Tommy even though he was really the victim. Tubbo's major weakness was always his own selflessness, and caring for people over himself no matter what the situation.
There was a short silence between the two before Tubbo spoke again, "Tommy.. you- you didn't mean what you said... about the discs, right?" Tubbo asked, worried for some reason that Tommy would say yes, despite looking so pitiful.
"No! No I swear I didn't mean it. I.. I was so caught up in my own bullshit I didn't stop to think about how you have your own things to deal with. I get that the discs can't be a priority to you, and I'm so sorry that I took them as one over you. I'm so sorry. I promise that you mean so much more to me. I'm so sorry." Tommy said, still holding one of Tubbo's hands. Tubbo didn't hesitate to forgive Tommy, he always found himself forgiving him no matter the situation because whether Tubbo liked it or not, Tommy was his rock. Through everything, no matter what, Tubbo never wanted to be the one to give up on him. "You're my best friend, I could never live with myself if you were gone."
"Hey, it's alright, okay? Don't be sorry- I'm sorry, for everything." Tubbo said, feeling overwhelmingly happy that he was okay and with his friend again. He felt bad about everything that happened with him in the past, and just wished things could only get better from here.
"Tubbo.. it's... it's going to be okay. Right? How are you feeling now?" Tommy asked, looking a bit sheepish.
"Sore.. really sore.. would you mind getting Sam?" Tubbo asked, receiving a small smile from his friend as he let go of his hand.
"Okay, I'll be right back." he said, turning and walking away.
Tubbo sighed, staring up at the ceiling and trying to even out his breaths.
He knew things would still be hard, but he didn't want to give up on everything. His recovery would be long, but he had hope; the one thing that was strong enough to get him through everything leading up to this point, so he knew deep down that it had to count for something.
