Why is Love So Blind?

Zander's POV:

I grabbed Em off the ground and started yelling at people telling them to call 911. I could not lose the love of my life. Never.

An ambulance finally came and brought us to the hospital. Please be alright. Please. I quickly grabbed Em's hand and tried to follow her into the emergency room. The doctor made me stay outside and wait, so I called Al and Kayla.

"What happened!" Kayla said as she and Al ran into the hospital.

"I thought she was in good hands!" Al said.

"You better spill it right now or you're dead!" CeCe said all of a sudden.

"CeCe? What are you doing here?" I asked surprised.

"Answer me and I'll tell you. We all trusted you to take care of Em." CeCe said angrily.

"I. I don't know what happened. I was running towards her so she wouldn't get hit. But. But I was too late. The next thing I know, Em's bleeding, laying on the ground." I said sadly.

"Oh my gosh! So where is Em now?" Al said looking around.

"She's in the emergency room. The doctor should be out any minute." I said looking hopefully at the door.

"She better be ok, or. Or you'll regret ever meeting us." Al said while CeCe and Kayla nodded in agreement.

"Are any of you Ember's family?" Doctor Smith said as he walked out of the emergency room.

"I am!" CeCe, Al, Kayla, and I all said at the same time.

"Uh... Ok? Well, Em is doing fine, but when she fell, she hit her hippocampus, which affects her memory. She is suffering from mild amnesia." Said Doctor Smith.

"So what does she remember?" Al asked anxiously.

"Well. You guys will have to find out yourselves. Good Luck. You guys may go in to see her now." Doctor Smith said.

"CeCe! Al! Kayla!" Em said happily. "What happened to me?"

Could she not see me or something? I'm standing right next to her. "Em?" I asked hoping Em would remember me.

"Oh! Hey... Um..." Em said obviously very confused.

"That's Zander! Remember?" Kayla said smiling.

"Ya! You guys are kind of... A thing." Al said.

"Ya. You also had your first-" CeCe said as she got cut off by me fake coughing. "What the crap Zander? Don't you want her to remember?" CeCe whispered to me.

"Of course I do. I just don't want to force everything onto her at once." I said whispering back to her.

"Em? We'll be right back. I just need to talk to Zander real quick." Al said while pulling me out of the room.

"What do you want?" I said as I tried to get back into Em's hospital room.

"You really like her. Don't you?" Al said softly.

"Of course. She's my whole world." I said smiling.

"That's what I thought. If Em doesn't remember you, then maybe you can win her back. So she will remember you." Al said happily.

"That might actually work. Thanks Al." I said while walking away.

"Where are you going?" Al asked.

"I'm going to come up with the best plan ever to win Em back." I said smiling.
