What Just Happened?

Well, so sum things up, we all got detention after school. Me, Al, Kayla, and Stella. I know what you're thinking. What? Kayla got detention? Crazy right? It's just so chaotic at school now, but Zander voluntarily stayed after school, so he could take me home.

"Thanks again for taking me home." I said shyly. I can't believe he would wait to take me home, and not take Stella to the movies anymore.

"Ya, anytime! I didn't really want to take Stell to the movies anyway. She wanted to watch some romantic chick-flick movie. You know how I hate those!" He said disgusted.

"Of course I know! The only thing we ever watched were action movies!" I wish we could do that again without his girlfriend getting jealous.

"Well, we're here!"

"Oh, thanks Zander. We need to hang out soon. Remember tomorrow right after school!" I said as I lightly punched him in the arm. Slowly I started to gaze into his eyes. They were blue. Just like the sky. His eyes were so mesmerizing. I noticed that we were just gazing into each others eyes just as the moon came up. How romantic. Why does he need to be so clueless? All of sudden, Zander leaned in and grabbed my hand. I didn't know what to do, so I waited there for a couple seconds, then I quickly pulled back. "Um... Zander? I think I should go. It's getting late. I'll text you if I can hang out tomorrow." I said, still shocked by what Zander just did. He already had a girlfriend. Why did he do that? Now I'm clueless.

"Oh... Ok, See ya tomorrow Em. I'll pick you up at the usual time." Zander said.

I quickly ran into my house, not looking back at all. I ran straight up to my room and looked out the window, and saw Zander still there. Why didn't he leave already? It's not like I wanted him to leave, but it really was getting late. Then I saw Zander's gaze look up the my window. Embarrassed, I slid down my wall, landing on the ground. First thing that came to my head was, call Al, and Kayla.
