Zander. Zander was standing there with his arms crossed looking at me with hurt in his eyes. I should’ve told him where I was going to be yesterday. How could I even forget? “Zander. I’m sorry. It’s just that I had already planned to hang out with Everett yesterday.” I said as I got up from my current position.

“Em. What about today? Did you even think about calling me?” Zander asked looking disappointed.

“Zander. I was just busy today! I forgot. Please don’t be mad.” I said.

“How can you expect me not to be mad? Think about what has happened. Just think about it.” Zander said as he started to walk away.

“Zander wait.” I said as I ran towards Zander shooting Everett a, i’m sorry look.

“What do you want Em. Go back to your boyfriend.” Zander said in disgust.

“What? He’s not my boyfriend!” I said looking very confused.

“Don’t even try denying it Em.” Zander said angrily as he stormed past me.

“Zander! You have to believe me! We’re not dating!” I yelled angrily.

“I’m sure that’s not how Everett see it!” Zander retorted angrily.

“Believe what you want Zander. When you’re ready to trust me, you know where to find me.” I said angrily.

“Yeah. I do. In Everett’s arms about to kiss!” Zander shouted.

"Zander, just leave." I said exhausted from arguing with Zander.

"My pleasure!" Zander shouted as he ran away from me.

UGH! Why does Zander have to be so stubborn! Can’t he just listen, and  trust me like a real friend! Who does he think he is telling me that i’m dating Everett! If I was, then I would know! Why did Zander always have to make things more difficult.

“Em? Are you okay?” Everett asked from behind me suddenly.

“I’m fine.” I snapped harsher than I had intended to.

“I’m sorry Em. If I had known this would happen, then I would’ve just forgotten about what happened last night.” Everett said sadly.

Great. Now I made two boys sad. “Ev. It’s not your fault. And don’t you ever forget what happened last night, and just barely. Even before Zander came.” I said.

“Are you sure? If you’re just saying that to make me feel better, then it’s ok.” Everett said quietly.

“Ev, I’m very sure. That was the most fun i’ve had in such a long time. I wouldn’t ever want you or me to forget that.” I said smiling.

“I honestly wouldn’t ever want to forget that either.” Everett said smiling back at me.

“Good. Now take me out to eat. I’m starving!” I said as I pulled him toward the car.

“My. Aren’t you demanding?” He asked as he chuckled.

“Yes. Yes I am. Now lets go eat!” I yelled happily trying to forget what happened between Zander and I.

“Mmmm. This is amazing! We should come here more!” I said happily as I chewed my food.

“Wow. You really like this place?” He asked in disbelief.

“Duh! That’s pretty much what I just said.” I said.

“Right. Stop eating so fast! You’re going to choke!” Everett said as he pulled my food away.
