She Doesn't Remember...

Zander's POV

"That has got to be the WORST plan ever!!!! How do you expect Em to get jealous if she doesn't even remember you?!?" Yelled Al.  

"I have my ways, okay? If she liked me before, then why can't she like me now?" I said smiling off into the distance.  

"You just don't know her like we do!" Kayla yelled. 

"Guys! I've known Em longer than both of you! CeCe, Em and I have all been best friends since we were little. It just doesn't make sense." I said sadly. 

"I hate to break it to you, but it's true. We all know Em really well, but Zander and I have known her for the longest. It really doesn't make sense." CeCe said very softly.  

*RING RING RING*  

"Hello? Ok. Thanks you! We are coming right now!" Al said as she hung up from her phone. "Guys, Em's doctor called. He said he knows why Em doesn't remember Zander!" Al said as she ran out to her car.  

"Hurry! Lets go!" I yelled. I was finally going I know why Em didn't remember me. There had to be some explanation behind this. I need to know.

"Doc! Why doesn't Em remember me?!" I said frantically. 

"Calm down please. You're in a hospital for crying out loud." The Doctor said trying to make me shut up. 

"Sorry. I just really want to know why Em doesn't remember me." I said quietly.  

"I understand. Every boyfriend always wants their girlfriend to remember them." The Doctor said while patting my back. 

"Of course." I said as I smirked at Al, Kayla, and CeCe.  

"Hate to break it to you sir, but Zander is not Em's boyfriend." CeCe said smirking back at me. 

"Zander is definitely NOT Em's boyfriend!" Al said laughing. Rude! 

"Probably not ever!" Kayla said then quickly covered her mouth with her hand.  

"What do you mean?" I said sadly. "I thought she liked me."  

"Keyword. Liked. Sorry Zander, but until Em either remembers you, and you supposedly win her back, you are definitely not going to be Em's boyfriend." CeCe said matter of factly.  

"Sorry Zander. We're all sorry." Al said.  

"It's. It's fine. Lets listen to what the Doc has to say." I said gesturing my hands to the Doctor. I can't believe that just happened. I never imagined that anything like this would ever happen. At all.  

"Some people have many reasons on why people lose their memories. I believe that there are some memories that Ember does not want to remember, because the memories have hurt her in the past. I'm very sorry Zander, but I'm afraid Ember does not want to remember her times with you, because she has been hurt by you before." The doctor said sadly.  

"I can't believe Em doesn't want to remember me. We've had so many great memories together. I don't even know how I've hurt her." I said almost crying. I'm a dude. Dudes don't cry. I never cry. I hate crying in front of people. Let alone girls! I guess this is just love.  

"Zander, I'm really sorry. We all are, but you don't know how much you've actually hurt Em." Al said as she started crying.  

"It's true Zander. Em liked you for a long time, and you've went out with TONS of girls. Even though I haven't been here for a while, Al, Kayla, and Em always call me and well, they tell me a lot of stuff. Like A LOOOT, and seriously A LOO-" CeCe said as I cut her off from her sentence.  

"Ok! CeCe! We get the point! I obviously hurt Em a lot without knowing it!" I yelled. 

"Oh ya! Big time!" Kayla said as CeCe and Al nodded in agreement.  

"As long as I stick with my plan, then I'm pretty sure she'll like me back." I said as a tear fell from my eye. 

"Zander? Are you... Crying? I've never seen you cry since we were little! This is HUGE! Someone grabs camera. I want to blackmail him later." CeCe said as she pulled out her phone. 

"CeCe! Not the time!" Al said wiping her tears away.  

"Sorry." CeCe mumbled. 

"Zander. You don't need to cry. It's gonna be ok." Kayla said. 

"Wow Kayla. You're usually the one that hates my guts. Thanks." I said smiling.  

"I can tell that you really like Em, so we are going to help you win Em back!" Al said cheerfully.  

"I guess we'll help. We are not going to stick with your plan. I just thought of a new plan that involves everyone." CeCe said smiling devilishly.
