LOVE comes in many forms
"hey precious, come here" jeno pat his lap, renjun climbing onto his legs and leaning his back into the alpha's chest
he laid back, eyes fluttering closed as fingers ran through his hair and began braiding in small sections
"i'm just going to ring minhyung, if you're hurting you need to tell us, okay, pup?" renjun nodded and sighed gently as he closed his eyes, jeno's pheromones somewhat stabilising his pain and only feeling it in gentle waves - bearable enough not to cry or whimper
jaemin sat in the upstairs office, phone in his hand and sighing in relief as minhyung answered
"hyung-"
"i know, jisung and chenle came running in after my last exam," minhyung spoke "are you going to mate him?"
"we- we can't hyung.. it's not the right time, i don't want either of us to hurt him"
"if you feel that's the right decision - go ahead. if you need anything brought over i'm more than happy to, jisung is staying with chenle until renjun's heat is over"
"ah- okay.. hyung..?"
"hm?"
"i don't want to hurt him.."
"you won't - you know, even without mating, that renjun is your omega. he's your omega, and he's jeno's omega - you know that you couldn't do anything in your own will to cause harm to him" jaemin sighed
"then why do i feel so angry..?"
"protective instinct, to keep your omega safe in his most vulnerable state. just let it be and it'll go away the more you tend to injun,"
"thank you, hyung.. i'll message you how he's doing later"
"don't worry it jaem, my mum can help you guys aswell - she's also a nurse but she's not working like auntie"
"thankyou - i really mean it.." on the other end, minhyung was smiling
he had never seen jeno or jaemin so invested and concerned about somebody that wasn't the other
he had never seen the two so in love
renjun smiled as jeno finished tying a handful of braids on the top of his head, looking up at jaemin as he entered and reaching out for him
the alpha laughed and climbed in between renjun's legs, the omega giggled and snuggled into him as he closed his eyes, scent becoming sweet with the heavy pheromones both of the alphas emitted
"hn, you're so warm precious.." jaemin muttered, holding renjun's small hands in his and kissing the palm of his left - where a small mark had been left from his nails
jeno kissed renjun's cheek before shuffling the omega so he laid more comfortably, and shifting jaemin so he was also laid in a comfortable position
"after a nap do you want to have a bath?" renjun hummed, giggling tiredly as his stomach was rubbed lightly, jaemin's head settled on his chest and jeno's arms wrapped around his waist
yawning into his hand, renjun snuggled into jeno as the latter finished helping him into pyjamas, doubling over in pain as his stomach suddenly cramped and his head began pounding
"hey, hey baby- you're alright," he spoke gently, letting the omega lean into him as he cried quietly "shh, it's alright baby.. you're fine, you're safe" he reassured the other
jeno lifted renjun onto his torso to take him downstairs into the kitchen, where jaemin had just finished cooking up some dinner
he turned around, smile faltering after seeing the omega- his omega, crying silently
"love? do you need anything?" renjun shook his head, only pushing himself further into jeno and digging his nose into the alpha's scent gland to calm himself "we'll sit in the living room, hm? and minnie can dry your hair for you and then we'll watch a movie" jaemin smiled brightened, and he took the pots of food into the living room and set it on the coffee table, returning to the kitchen to gather some plates, bowls and cutlery
the three settled in the living room, renjun sat in between jaemin's legs on the floor and eating hot pot quietly whilst jaemin gently dried his hair with a towel, releasing his scent to keep the omega's pheromones steady
"all done precious" renjun giggled and laid his head on jaemin's thigh, his food finished and his eyes droopy "can i pick you up lovely?" he hummed, leaning into jaemin silently as his stomach was rubbed in circles
"are you feeling any better? anything hurt?" the omega shook his head
"i think- i think you're helping me.. a lot.." he smiled shyly "doesn't hurt anymore.."
"that's wonderful, love, so wonderful.." jaemin spoke gently, pulling a blanket on top of renjun as he dozed off "we're so lucky to have you baby"
