the clock ticked, almost patronising to jaemin, as he tapped his fingers on his thigh - cautiously watching the handful of men seated across from him and his mate

"you've been seen with him - he's pretty cute, but we can't get any information on him because you keep a good eye on him" jaemin clenched his jaw, feeling a hand on his thigh as he stared down the little mutt, seated next to his boss with a proud smirk on his face- happy he was pushing the alpha's buttons

"would there be a problem with a third mate?" jeno questions, eyes slanted and flickering with crimson

"no, no, not at all. we just want to know who's being hidden by our biggest threats. you two have done more than most of my lot - if you have a third mate.. he'd be wonderful bait" the boss cackled, jaemin grabbing onto jeno's knee in annoyance as his nails sharpened, raw anger coursing through his veins

"we do have another mate, but anybody else who lands their dirty little hands on him after what those two fuckers from hongjoong's clan did will have no bones that aren't broken" he bit, clenching his jaw as his teeth grew slightly

"hm? if only we were on good terms with hongjoong's clan, then we'd know exactly who you're seeing.. tut tut, well, it was worth a try - especially seeing you all riled up over a pitiful little omega, mr na, it's worth anything," jaemin frowned, but before he could stand, the boss raised a hand with a wicked grin on his face, eyes glowing a furious blue

"maybe you should keep renjun protected a little more"

and jaemin saw red
