"oh, my poor baby, he's out of it now yes?" jaemin hummed "well, i'll just tell jisung to stay with chenle for another day or two - i'm at a friend's house - and you can stay with him until you go back to school. he might have long-lasting effects but he'll be alright to return to school in a few days"
"thank you mrs park, i really appreciate you letting us stay for so long"

"don't think twice of asking me anything, dear - you and jeno are lovely young boys and renjun really likes you" jaemin laughed "okay, i need to go, my shift starts in a few minutes. if you need anything just ring me, or minhyungie, and we'll help you"
"bye mrs park - thank you again"
"bye dear!"

jaemin looked up as renjun and jeno ran in, the omega jumped onto his lap as he laughed
"minnie! neno is trying to tickle me.." he pouted, snuggling into jaemin as he stuck his tongue out at jeno
"my baby doesn't deserve that!" jaemin huffed, earning little giggles from renjun "stop tickling my precious!" jeno laughed also, climbing onto the sofa and engulfing the two in his arms

"hm? but he's also my precious" he kissed renjun's nose, earning a squeal
"are you doing well, love?" renjun nodded
"i feel so much better! i think it's all the hot pot.." the three laughed gently

"how cute.."

renjun laid on the carpet on the floor, fiddling with jeno's phone as he played a game
he blinked as it vibrated and a message appeared from somebody called 'jaehyun'

so, he raised to his feet and waddled into the kitchen where the two alphas were, jaemin cooking and jeno sat at the counter talking to him
"jen..?" jeno turned to him, helping renjun settle in between his legs as the omega shuffled over to him

"somebody messaged you, called jaehyun.." he handed the phone over, head resting on jeno's shoulder as he now watched jaemin make lunch "minnie, i don't mind cooking.."
"don't worry your pretty little face, you're still coming off your heat" renjun whined
"but i feel useless!" he complained, drooping himself all over jeno as he sulked

"jaem,"
"hm?"
"i need to go- now" jeno gently set renjun on the counter, kissing his forehead - he showed jaemin his phone, pecking his lips before leaving

"is he okay..?"
"everything's alright, love, just some problems at the track" renjun pouted sadly, leaning into jaemin as his eyes teared up, underlying tones of gold apparent in the honey swirls

"d-does alpha not want me..?" jaemin paused, silently cursing out jeno for leaving at such as time
"alpha does want you, baby, he's just very busy and my hyung has called him in because they're in danger over there and if he doesn't go then my hyung's mate is in danger.." jaemin explained, letting renjun nuzzle his nose into his scent gland and breathe him in

"hmph.. alpha, do you want me alpha..?" renjun whispered, sniffling as arms circled around his lithe waist
"of course i do, love, you wanna be mine and alpha's omega my precious, hm?" he nodded quickly- eagerly

renjun had been dozing off all day, and it was now, finally, the last lesson of his first day back in a week
he slumped in his chair, eyes fluttering as the class waited for their teacher to attend

"today we have a new student! they are not a transfer student from across town but from jeju! please welcome him well," their language teacher, miss soh, walked in

the class fell quiet, and the boy stood at the front smiled wide, his soft, honey-toned skin shined underneath the yellow lights of the room and his rainbow-stranded hair bounced as he did, waving to the group of students before opening his mouth to introduce himself
