the common cold
sneezing into a tissue, renjun breathed through his throat, nose congested and blocked
he laid back down in bed, eyes lidded as his body began to shut down for sleep
his bedroom door opened slowly, jeno walking in with light footsteps as to not wake the other
"hm? not asleep yet injun?" the omega whimpered, heart fluttering at the comforting scent and warmth the alpha was emitting
he reached out for him, shuffling back on his mattress and smiling weakly as the alpha climbed under the duvet, taking the smaller into his strong hold
"have you had any medicine?" renjun hummed, burying his nose into jeno's neck and whining at the scent - how it made him feel warm and fuzzy and safe
jeno rubbed circles on his back, eyebrows creasing as the omega cried out quietly, back arching to move away from his touch
"are you hurt injun?" the alpha spoke gently, looking over renjun's shoulder after sliding his shirt up his back, jaw clenching at the sight of patch after patch covering wounds all over him
jeno sighed as the omega just cuddled into him, dozy from his medicine and completely unaware of him inspecting his bandages and patches
"you sleepy?" jeno whispered, renjun nodding and giggling lazily as a hand cupped his cheek "jaemin's gonna be here soon, think you can stay awake until then?" the smaller shrugged, sniffing before sneezing into a bundle of tissues, coughing up some phlegm right after and just laying his head on jeno's outstretched arm, head spinning
jeno watched silently as renjun dozed off, mouth ajar to breathe properly and little hands holding his hoodie, stroking the omega's temple with his thumb ever so softly
jaemin entered, holding two plastic bags
"i didn't say bring the whole shop" jeno laughed quietly, hoisting renjun up his torso so he could sit up
the younger alpha shrugged, "my baby is sick, of course he's gonna get loads of stuff" jeno rolled his eyes playfully, before helping his boyfriend settle on renjun's bed, the owner of said bed beginning to stir
jaemin quickly pecked jeno's lips before pulling out some more medicine from one of the bags, setting them both on the floor before placing the back of his hand on renjun's forehead
"injunnie, you need some more medicine~" he hummed, smiling as renjun's eyes slowly opened and he whimpered at the light in the room
"come here, baby" and the omega crawled onto jaemin's lap, taking his medicine nicely before being laid back down "does your head hurt?" he nodded, so jeno quickly stood and turned the lights off before returning to the bed
"it'll be over in a few days injun," jaemin kissed his forehead "do you wanna watch anything?" renjun nodded, mumbling a soft 'moomin' before he found himself about to asleep again
jeno bundled the little omega in some blankets, smiling as renjun giggled, eyes fighting to stay open
"go to sleep precious, we'll be here when you wake up.." renjun whined, eyes teary at the thought of them leaving and them coming to hurt him, weakly holding jaemin's arm in fear
"don't be scared, we're here to keep you safe.." the omega sniffled and let his eyes flutter closed, holding onto jaemin's hand weakly
