rainy day
rain patters against the windows of renjun's science class, sending the omega into a drowsy state as he leaned his cheek on his palm, jumping as the bell rang throughout the school
he watched as his classmates hurried out of the room, pulling his bag onto his shoulders before leaving by himself, slow steps echoing down the almost-empty hallway and the building already falling dark
renjun left the school, inhaling the cold air as his senses prickled at a presence close by
"injun? are you alright?" chenle came into the omega's vision, renjun humming before taking ahold of the younger's hand and mumbling something along the lines of let's go home lele
"where's your brother sweetie?" jiyoung, renjun and jisung's mother, popped her head through the back room door
"i don't know, mama, he texted me saying he was busy with minhyungie.." she 'ahh'd and nodded
"they're probably out somewhere," she smiled "do you two want anything to eat? i'm gonna be leaving in about half an hour as they've called me in"
"no thank you mama," chenle also shook his head, unfortunately drinking water from a bottle as she spoke
"i'll see you two soon, remember to lock the windows before you sleep injun," renjun nodded, and the best friends waved at jiyoung before she left
"but i won!!" renjun whined, rocking on his bum as chenle only laughed at him with a cheeky grin on his face
"i'm taller than you," he stuck his tongue out, smiling in triumph as renjun could only pout and shuffle across the living room to sit in the corner of said room, folding his arms
"i'm only joking injunnie, do you wanna take a nap? we can colour in the book after," chenle suggested, earning an eager nod and the smaller to quickly raise to his feet and waddle over to the sofa (that had been drowned with blankets)
"'m so tired.." renjun yawned, flopping down on the sofa and squealing as chenle jumped on top of him "get off of me!" he whined, wriggling underneath chenle and giggling as the younger omega only shook his head
"i'm tired too injunnie, don't wanna move~" he teased, earning more whining from his best friend
"stop!!" renjun laughed, curling into the other as chenle shuffled off of him, the two falling asleep minutes later with their fingers linked and renjun's head buried into chenle's shoulder
jisung stepped into the entrance, three figures on his trail all quiet as they heard no noise coming from anywhere, whatsoever
he lead the three down the hall and towards the room where he smelt the scent of his boyfriend and brother the most
and when he opened the back room, he smiled "they're so cute," he sighed
chenle was holding renjun, sprawled out across the sofa with the pillow that his head presumably rested on laid on the floor
renjun was laid between him and the back of the sofa, leg splayed out over the younger as they both snored lightly
minhyung found them cute, but he frowned at the rather strong scent of chenle, noticing how jisung's nose scrunched up
"do you think renjun was having a bad dream?" the younger shrugged, shivering as his boyfriend's scent only increased with the smell becoming more and more sweeter
his eyes suddenly shifted to a blinding red upon his omega's scent turning sour
"renjun's having a bad dream-" jaemin spoke up "and chenle feels it," he crouched down in front of the two, stroking renjun's cheek and smiling subconsciously as the omega leaned into his touch, chenle's bitter scent of berries fading to the usual tone, and jisung kissed his lover on the forehead
"fucking hell i don't think i could love anything as much as him," he admitted, nuzzling his nose into chenle's hair and smiling as the omega giggled in his sleep, nose twitching, maybe grabbing the scent of his alpha in unconsciousness
"hm i love you too sungie~" and chenle was out again
