"hey rennie, wanna try this?" beomgyu smiled, handing the pink head a blunt and gesturing for him to smoke it
"will sannie and wooyoungie get mad..?"
"'course not! i think they'll be happy - you're trying new stuff" the younger shrugged, eyes glinting as the omega took a puff
the front door clicked open, and renjun shuffled inside, tripping over his feet and borderline fainting as he wobbled into the kitchen (which was past the living room, where his brother, cousin and their friends were)
"injun? i thought you were staying at that first year's?" chenle spoke up, catching the attention of the others
renjun didn't answer, continuing his track to the kitchen and feeling the burn behind his eyes only worsen
chenle looked at his boyfriend with worry before climbing to his feet and following renjun into the kitchen, closing the door behind him quietly
"injunnie?" the elder hummed, jumping as the cup he was holding just slipped out of his grasp "renjun are you alright?" chenle took careful steps, holding the other omega's forearms and frowning as renjun's head hung low, drooping as he swayed on his feet
he took the elder's cheek in his palms and lifted his head up, freezing after seeing renjun's eyes bloodshot and sore
"are you high..?" he whispered, jumping as the door opened and jisung walked stepped in
"is he alright? i heard glass.." chenle quickly turned renjun's face away from the alpha, nodding slightly and feeling his heart stop as jisung suddenly appeared to his right, inspecting his brother
"you're high?" he gritted his teeth, pulling renjun from chenle's hold to properly look at him, the omega whining from the way he was roughly tugged and unbalanced on his feet
"who got you high?" renjun blinked, mind going blank "jun?"
"gyu.." the smaller muttered, eyes tearing up as his brother groaned in annoyance
"choi beomgyu?!" he jumped, chenle putting a hand on the younger's shoulder and releasing his scent to somewhat calm him
"injunnie? do you wanna go upstairs and get cleaned up hm?" renjun shrugged, beginning to cry "why are you crying?"
"are you mad at me..?" he whispered, flinching as jisung held his hand
the latter frowned, crouching down infront of his brother
"we'd never be mad at you injunnie, we're just worried for you.." he spoke gently, wiping renjun's tears
"injunnie.. do they hurt you?" chenle spoke up, frowning when he didn't answer "we won't tell anyone," he added
renjun pouted, tears dry on his puffy cheeks, and nodded sadly
"can you show us?" he immediately shook his head, stepping back but slipping and landing directly on top of the shattered glass, whimpering at the sting of the wounds and sniffling as jisung hurriedly picked him up
"i'm sorry you're always getting hurt injunnie.." he mumbled, carrying the omega into the downstairs bathroom
"is he alright?" jaemin asked, leaned on the doorway
chenle, who had followed his boyfriend, shook his head subtly
"injun do you want me to help clean you up?" renjun nodded, smiling shyly at his best friend even though his whole body ached and his chest was tight
chenle had finished cleaning all of renjun's wounds, including the bruises, cuts, burns and more littered around his body (mostly his torso)
he had to be strong for his best friend as the latter just cried and cried, begging him not to tell jisung or minhyung - to lie and tell them that they hadn't left any marks
chenle rightfully hesitated, but agreed after the other omega burst into another fit of tears, claiming 'they'll hurt me more' if anybody found out. he helped renjun into the elder's bedroom, settling him in his bed and felt his heart shatter as the omega looked so small and fragile, body still trembling
"i'm going to go and get jaemin, okay? don't cry injunnie, he's going to keep you safe.." chenle smiled sadly, tucking a piece of renjun's hair behind his ear before making his way downstairs "could you stay with him?" he asked jaemin, jeno was out with minhyung so he couldn't join, but the younger alpha was quick to agree
he entered renjun's bedroom, finding the smaller tucked under his covers crying to himself, cheeks still puffed and eyes still slightly red
"hey injun, you tired hm?" he smiled kindly, sitting next to the omega and laughing quietly as renjun tugged at his shirt and made grabby hands for him "want me to sleep with you sweetie?" renjun nodded silently, cuddling into the alpha as he climbed under the covers
renjun fell asleep in mere minutes, jaemin holding him not too tight, but enough to ensure safety of the omega, his heart racing in his chest and wolf telling him to keep his (soon-to-be) baby safe from everything bad, including the two alphas who had been praying on him
"i promise to keep you safe from now on, renjun"
