renjun wobbled on his feet, hands flying to jeno's arm in order to keep himself steady as his head pounded - heart thumping against his aching chest and breathing shallow
"injun? are you okay pup?" the alpha asked gently, lifting renjun up and onto the counter of the omega's house
renjun just stared at him, flinching as his cheek was held and his eyes glazing over "injun?" jeno frowned as he sniffed around the omega, eyes glowing red at the sight of a little blue bruise, the initials J.WY marked into the skin
renjun was his omega - unmarked or not, and jeno saw this as a threat, a challenge, a dare, to who owned (in wooyoung's point of view) the omega
the omega cried out as he felt warm breath on the mark burned into the juncture between his neck and shoulder, quickly grabbing jeno's upper arm as he felt tears prick at his eyes
"hurts.."
jeno carried the omega into chenle's house, finding the couple in the living room, jisung springing to his feet at the scent of an alpha surrounding his brother
"he's been temp marked, i'm gonna get jaem" was all jeno said, before kissing renjun's forehead and handing him over to his brother, quickly exiting the house
"hey injunnie, wanna eat some hot pot? i bet you're hungry, hm?" chenle asked gently, earning nothing in response "ji could you find some clothes for him, and bring in a patch" the alpha hummed before disappearing upstairs
he returned with some pyjamas and a scent patch, quickly covering the temporary mark on his brother's skin and rubbing his back
"can you change yourself? i'm going to cook some food for us" renjun nodded, hugging the pair before he shuffled upstairs
jisung knocked on the bathroom door, frowning as it was unlocked, and pushed the door open, heart stopping at the sight of renjun unconscious on the floor
"lele!" he called out "ring minhyung!"
minhyung watched the nurse enter, renjun sleeping on the hospital bed
he had been brought in just under an hour earlier, the doctor and nurses taking multiple tests on him after checking his eyes, response levels and heart rate
"we have found traces of an unknown substance that may be a mixture of illegal drugs, put into his system around seven hours prior to ten minutes or so ago. he'll need to be checked in properly as he is due to stay for at least a week," she smiled sadly "he'll be okay, just weak for a while.." minhyung nodded, thanking her and watching as she stepped out of the room
he turned to his cousin, "sleep well puppy," he whispered, holding renjun's smaller hand in his and trying to ignore the pain in his chest at the sight of his cousin drugged and unconscious
