brother,
holding his mother's hand tightly, a little three year-old jisung blinked, looking between the little boy infront of him and his mum
"eom-ma.." he pouted "who da boy here eomma?" he asked, pointing at the little boy
"this is renjun, sweetie, he's going to be your brother" the woman smiled, kneeling down infront of her son and kissing his forehead "his eomma and papa left him, so eomma is giving him a new home" jisung nodded, before turning to the boy and smiling, running over to him and pulling him into his arms
"new brother! i love you injunnie"
renjun huffed, plopping down on his chair and feeling his eyes water - he sucked at korean, it was like the words were just scribbles. he couldn't do it.
jisung peeked his head around his brother's bedroom door, the little six year-old frowning at the sight of his eight year-old brother crying to himself
"i'll help injunnie," he waddled in, the elder wiping his tears before nodding, sparkly eyes looking at his brother from his seat
"i'll teach you chinese sungie!" renjun smiled, pulling jisung into a hug and giggling as the younger nodded quickly
jisung frowned, arms folded as he eyed the beta infront of him, renjun hidden behind his back with tears streaming down his face
"why did you hit my brother?!" he snapped, eyes glowing red
"i-i'm sorry jisung.." the younger growled, baring his teeth but pausing as he felt a hand on his arm
he turned to find his brother crying harder. he told the beta to leave before turning around to renjun
"i'm sorry injunnie.." renjun sniffled, arms wrapping around jisung tightly
"thankyou sungie.." he cried, little body trembling
the eleven year-old smiled and kissed the top of his brother's head, already taller than him
"don't thank me injunnie, i'll always protect you" he assured the elder, the two leaving to make their way outside of the school as the bell rang
"injunnie?" jisung asked quietly, sighing gently after finding his brother fast asleep cuddled up to chenle
he admired the pair for a moment before leaving to the kitchen for a glass of water
"are you biological brothers with renjun?" he placed his glass down before turning around - coming face to face with his cousin's friends
"no," he shrugged "but it doesn't change anything" he admitted
"is he an omega?" he nodded
"full-bred.. why are you asking?" jaemin shrugged "you're already mated.."
"they feel a link with renjun," minhyung appeared, taking a seat at the island before looking at the two with serious eyes "you feel like you're mated to renjun.. don't you?"
