jaemin hummed as renjun swung their arms lightly, the smaller dressed in his adorable 'customised' uniform - a black pullover atop his collared shirt, black shorts and black knee socks, jeno's unzipped hoodie over his uniform as it was chilly
they made their way down the halls of the school, arriving in the main hall as renjun babbled on about princess' daily adventures over the past two weeks - jeno and jaemin had been busy the past fortnight and renjun was left with princess in jen's house most nights (his mama was staying with huagun as her shifts at the hospital were stacking up, and jisung was with chenle as his mother was on a work trip)
he brought his cat with him anywhere he stayed overnight, snuggling with her and being found fast asleep in the sheets when his boyfriends returned in the early hours of the morning
renjun waddled over to jeno and wrapped his arms around him, nuzzling his nose into the alpha's chest
"hey baby face, you cold?" renjun nodded, pouting
"soo cold outside neno!" he whined, wriggling around and calming as the arms around his waist tightened lightly and jeno kissed his temple
"my poor bubba.." jen muttered, rubbing circles on his omega's back and letting renjun cuddle into him as they sat down on one of the tables
"guys this is yangyang, he's the boyfriend of one of our members" minhyung introduced someone after sliding into a spare seat, who renjun is immediately drawn to
"hi! i'm a beta!" the newcomer smiled cheekily, taking a seat and greeting the group
renjun giggled and shuffled towards the beta, giving him a happy hug and bouncing in his place
"i'm renjun!!" he smiled and clung to yangyang's arm, letting jaemin feed him a few biscuits
the day continued, with injun glued to one or the other's arm and humming to himself with a little smile
"super clingy lately" chenle complained as the elder omega held his hand, but kept by his side as renjun's love language was touch, no matter it be romantic or family love
after the school day finished, jeno had let the omega being clingy to anyone and everyone sink in, noticing how renjun nuzzled into him and their boyfriend more often than usual, and how he only clung onto him and the younger alpha a little into the day
renjun's mind fell fuzzy as jaemin's hands rubbed his forearms tenderly, the three having stopped at a café for the omega to eat some warm food before they had to leave him to attend a meeting with the gang
"don't go.." he sniffled, laying his head on his lover's upper arm and feeling his eyes water as he noticed the time getting closer and closer to when they had to separate
"you feeling sick baby?" jaemin blinked, not really understanding why his baby was so upset about them leaving when they had to do so sometimes and renjun was okay with it
renjun only whimpered and closed his eyes, his nose burned and he felt warmth all over his body, prickling lightly and churning his tummy
jen rubbed his nose over injun's scent gland that laid on his neck, and subtly released his scent- feeling that his omega was nearing his heat
"we won't be long tonight, puppy, if you feel upset just ring one of us, okay? alpha promises we won't be long" jen mumbled, kissing renjun's ear and helping him out of the booth as the clock striked just before four
"love you bubba, give me a kiss" jaemin grinned wide, eyes practically shooting hearts at his baby as the latter smiled shyly and connected their lips
"love you too nana, don't be too long" he pouted, nuzzling his nose into jaem's shoulder
"we won't, baby, promise"
