Chapter 10

Violet.

Once my Eliot told me I could invite Calum and the boys, I ran up to my room and got my phone. I dialed up Calum and waited for him to answer. He answered by the third ring and said, "Hello Violet, are you okay? Is anything wrong?" 

I smiled at how caring he was. "Hi Calum. I'm fine. Don't worry," I said. 

"Alright. What's up then?"

"Um..well Eliot and I are kind of bored at home and we decided to go out and watch a movie or to the arcade of something. I don't know. But we were wondering if you and the boys would want to come?"

Calum stayed silent for awhile and then finally said, "Yea sure. I'll invite the boys too." 

I smiled and bid goodbye and hung up. I went down and told Eliot. Eliot told me to text Calum and ask him to meet up at our house. "We'll be leaving at about 8.30 okay?" Eliot said to me. I nodded and went back up. I texted Calum and threw my phone aside. I had to start getting and ready and picking out the clothes I want to wear. 

I got into the shower and took a hot shower. I got out and did my hair. I dried it and decided to let it out. I picked out a pair of black skinny jeans and a white tank top with the starbucks logo on it. I didn't put much make up on and took a look at myself in the mirror once more. I felt satisfyed with what I had done, I took my phone and went downstairs. 

I heard faint voices and stopped in my tracks. I knew Eliot was talking to someone but I didn't know who. I knew it was bad to eavesdrop but I couldn't help myself.

"Yea, we were in a grocery store and saw them beating her up," I heard someone say. It sounded kind of like Luke. 

"I remembered they had tattoos and piercings. Kind of like me," I knew that was Calum from his adorable accent. 

"Alright. Thanks guys. I really appriceate you keeping an eye out for my sister," I heard Eliot say. I decided I should stop eavesdropping and head downstaris now before I get caught. I coughed so they knew I was there and then went down. Calum and the boys looked at me and smiled. "Are you ready to go, Violet?" Eliot asked me. 

I nodded and smiled at the boys. "So how are we going?" I asked them. 

"Well we came here with Ashton's CRV. I think we could all fit in," Luke said. 

"Alright then. We'll go with your car then Ashton," Eliot said. 

"Where are we going though?" Ashton asked as he got his keys. 

Eliot turned to me and so did all the other boys. "What? I don't know."

"C'mon Violet. Let's go to the arcade or somewhere. There's this new zombie game and I want to kill lots of zombies!" said Michael. 

I shrugged my shoulders and said, "Alright."

We got into the car and Ashton drove. "I want to sit beside my best friend!" shouted Michael. 

"Aw, okay Let's sit together," Calum said hugging Michael. Michael pushed Calum away and said, "Ew, not you. I'm talking about Violet."

I couldn't help but laugh at them. Eliot sat shotgun and the rest of us at the back. I was squished in between Michael and Calum.

Once we got there, Eliot and Michael was the one to go get our tokens. Ashton went to go park his car with Calum in it. Me and Luke went to a convenience store nearby to get us some snacks. "So what do you want to get?" I asked Luke as I looked through all the snacks this store had. 

"Umm, I don't know. Michael really likes pringles and Calum likes snickers. So I guess we could get some of both," Luke said playing with his lip ring. I realized this has become a habbit of his.

"Alright then. So how long have you guys been in a band?" I asked feeling curious. 

Luke started picking a few packets of pringles and said, "Um, about 2 years. I knew Michael and Calum at school. Ashton kind of joined the band later on. He used to hate us actually." 

I chuckled and said, "Really? Why though?"

Luke laughed and said, "Yea. he used to think we always played around too much. I guess after he joined the band that's when we became more serious. Oh, Violet, can you go get the snickers?"

I nodded and went to go get it.

Once we got all the snacks, we walked over to where everyone was. "Ready to go?" Eliot asked.

"YES!" Michael shouted, obviously excited.

Eliot just laughed at him and nodded. We walked in and went to the token booth to get our tokens. Once we got em, Michael ran to his zombie game and played it. I played a few games and got tired of it soon. I walked around and watched rest of the guys playing. Eliot seemed to be getting along with the other boys really well and I was happy about that.

Calum saw me and walked over to me. "Hey there," he said to me.

I turned to him and smiled. "Not playing anything?" he asked.

"Nope. Nothing much to play here. Its more stuff for you guys to do."

Calum chuckled and said, "So, I've got news."

I turned to him and rose an eyebrow at him. "What?"

"You know, when I left the other morning, it was because Ashton had booked us a gig. Like we've played at places before. But there's going to be 500 plus people here," Calum said, not being able to contain his smile.

"What?! That's great!" I hugged him tightly. Calum hugged me back and we stayed like that for awhile.

"Hey lovebirds, stop being anti-social over there and come here!" I heard Ashton shout.

I blushed with the word 'lovebirds' . Me and Calum weren't even a thing. "C'mon let's go,"Calum said and took my hand and walked towards the boys.
