Calum

Ashton drove to the hospital as fast as he could. Violet's head laid on my lap while her body was across the blonde kid. She was unconscious and there was blood at the side of her head. She couldn't leave me like this. She can't. Tears threatened to spill out but I held it in. Michael looked at me in sadness in his eyes and said, "It's okay, dude. She's going to be fine. I promise you."

I just looked at him without a reply. He knows that he's not completely sure about that. He knows anything could happen to Violet. I know the boys were feeling the same way about Violet. Ever since I brought her to our band practice, all of the boys started growing close to her. I looked over at the blonde kid sitting on my left. He looked just a depressed as me. "Thanks, kid," I said.

He just looked at me and gave me a small smile. I looked down at Violet. She looked so peaceful. She always looked peaceful when she's asleep. Only thing she's not asleep now.

Once we got to the hospital, the nurses put her onto a strecther and brought her into the ICU. I tried to get in but according to the nurses, 'I'm not allowed in there.'

Ashton came over and pulled me away from the door. All five of us took a seat while waiting for the doctor. Not soon later, Eliot rushed into the hospital. His brown hair all over the place. He looked completelt flustered. "Where is she? Is she okay?" He asked as he walked over. Luke answered his question. "What happened?" He asked. This time it was Ashton's turn to answer. Once Ashton was done explaning, Eliot took a seat too.

We waited for what felt like hours till the doctor came out. "She's alright now. I guess her head might have had hard contact with a metal object or something, which caused her to bleed and become unconscious. You can go in and see her but 2 at a time please. Any family members here?"

"Me, sir." Eliot said.

The doctor looked at Eliot and said, "She can't go to school or anywhere for atleast 1 week. She needs to stay at home and get proper rest. You got that?"

Eliot nodded and thanked the doctor. The doctor smiled and left us to go see her. "I think maybe Calum and Eliot should go in first," the blonde kid suggested.

"Thanks..um.."

"Niall. My name's Niall Horan," he smiled and extended his hand for a shake.

"Calum Hood," I smiled and shook his hand.

Me and Eliot walked in to find Violet on the bed with a bandage around her head. It hurt me to see her like that. We walked over to her to find her asleep. Her eyes slowly fluttered open and she saw us. "Hey," she croaked. I bet her throat was dry from the lack of water. Eliot must have thought the same thing because he said, "A cup of water?"

She smiled and nodded. Eliot got her a cup of water and gave it to her. I helped her sit up as she drank the water. Me and Eliot both got a chair and sat at each sides of the bed. "How you feeling?" I asked.

"Alright. But kind of dizzy," she answered.

"Yea, the doc said you might feel dizzy for a while. Also, you can't go to school for the next whole week. I guess you just have to spend time with your big brother," Eliot said trying to lighten the mood. I couldn't help but crack a small smile at his attempt. Violet rolled her eyes and smiled back.

Violet looked at me unsure before she asked, "What happened, Calum?"

I took a deep breath in and explained everything to her. From how I saw her smile at that tattoo kid to how his friends called her names and shoved her on the floor to how we ended up here. Once she heard everything she just sighed.

Eliot finally asked a question which has been on my mind all day. "Why did you smile at that kid, Violet?"

She looked at him and said, "He smiled at me, Eliot. I swear he did. I thought maybe he was being nice. But I guess I was wrong."

Eliot mumbled something which I couldn't quite make out. A small giggle escaped Violet's mouth. Me and Eliot both looked at her only to find her looking at the door. Michael's head was popping through the door. "Is it our turn yet?" Michael whispered. I couldn't help but chuckle at how much of a idiot he is. I turned back to Violet and said, "I guess we have to go now. The other boys want to meet you too."

"Okay," was all she said. Eliot kissed her forehead and we both left the room for the other boys to enter. Michael and Niall were the next to go in.

"Is she alright?" Luke asked as we got out. I nodded my head and took a seat. I couldn't help but thank god for making sure Violet was fine. Once all the boys had seen Violet, the doctor told that Violet could be discharged. Eliot took Violet home and Ashton drove all of us back to his place. Well this has been one hell of a day.
